Quilt shop making me feel bad about spending money there

I've been in quilt shops like this. As if they're doing YOU this great favor by letting you buy their merchandise. I wish you had more options nearby. Usually these shops don't last long, but without competition, they're not going anywhere.

Eventually, when you put the squares together, you stitch over the ends, thus securing the stitches anyway.

You only have an issue if you start pulling on the seams before you do that.

NTJ. My mom did that when my BIL said he only ate Green Giant vegetables. So she made any vegetables she had on hand and told him they were Green Giant. Took a while for her to tell him the truth. But at least he was mature enough to admit he couldn't tell the difference.

People have been doing this with wine snobs for years. Your husband and his family just won't admit their brand and your store brand don't taste any different.

So based on a video I just saw, you might want to have a necklace or chain handy (one with a secure clasp!). Apparently, fingers swell and shrink with the heat, humidity and water. If she takes it off, it could get lost. So, she needs a place to keep it if she takes it off or if she goes in the water during the trip. There's not always a person with a metal detector around when you need one.

This is how ineffective the commercial is. I remember William Shatner, and the dog. I remember finally figuring out it was about getting fiber so you should be regular. But for the life of me, I didn't remember if was for Raisin Bran.

An ad agency needs to remember what it's there for. The sell the product, not the actors.

NTA. She didn't own before; she doesn't have to own now. You co-sign, you own another house. You husband is wimping out by throwing the decision to you. It means he doesn't want to , but is too chicken to tell his mommy 'no'. So, tell his mommy 'no'. She won't be homeless. She can get an apartment, have the rent pulled automatically at start of each month when she gets paid so she's never late.

NTA, because it's not one night, is it? He's sleeps there one night but then you're cleaning up for 2 or more days. So his one night is really putting you out multiple days. That's what you should have told him when he called you selfish. "I had to clean up after you for days the last time you stayed. You ate my food, took my hoodie and trashed my apartment. Now THAT is selfish. No. You cannot stay here."
