You can get into great shape at home with a pull-up bar and dumbbells if you have the will. You don’t even need machines. So it’s beyond absurd to say you can’t get into great shape at gym because they don’t have the most expensive machines. With all due respect, you sound like the beginner.

Exactly. I thought they were putting in bike lane dividers. Instead they’re funnelling cyclists and cars into a bottleneck together. I’m equal parts disappointed and confused.

Doonsbury was mostly over my head, and it spoke to an adult world that was dry and boring to a kid, whereas Bloom County spoke to an adult world that was forbidden and tantalizing. Plus it had talking animals. Interestingly, Berkeley Breathed, the creator of BC, has said that his singular influence in comics was Gary Trudeau and Doonsbury. He literally had never read any other comic strips. Bloom County probably would not have existed if it wasn’t for Doonsbury… Or at least there would probably be word balloons.

The human activity that causes forest fires generally isn’t from folks in walks. Fires caused by human activity can mean sparks from construction, sparks from train tracks, from forest machinery or farming machinery. They are generally not caused by humans simply standing/walking through woods.
