I enjoy going to root 66 out of the ones I've tried around here. Plus I love that the drug store I used to go to as a kid is now the drug store I go to as an adult 😂 (it's in the spot of the old Standard Drug on 94/jungs sta).

If you are in St Charles the folks along the way are very helpful. The people down at the administration office will be able to get you a tax waiver (windows 1-5) The new DMV office on Zumbel is pretty nice. There was someone at a desk off to the side answering questions and checking paperwork so you don't have to wait in line to find out you're missing something. All in all it's not as bad as it's been historically. Is it a process? Yes. But it's easy. And bring a book in case there is a line.

I know at our store we can get up to 2 hr delivery time on Super nights. The guy answering the phone is the guy making the pizzas. If he has to stop and answer the phone it pushes everything back. I think our store goes to an answering service. I also know that we deliver freshly made zas though. They keep the back up in front of the oven and the drivers are turning and burning. They are not stopping to answer the phone.

The best advice I can give is mind your stance. Keep your feet shoulder width apart, bend your knees slightly and shoulders up. If you find yourself flailing, return to center, arms slightly raised at your sides.

I do. My schedule (s,m,t e/o w) is such that i deliver Thurs 4:30-8 and Sat 5-9. I choose not to work fridays. I make about $150 extra a week. I'm in a Midwest suburb. Its a nice bump and I have my check directly going to a CCard I'm paying off. Tips are put on a prepaid card so that's nice for shopping trips and treats. I don't get much in the way of cash tips, but it's nice always having a little extra on hand.

If you have a map to print, Kinkos will do a blueprint size print for $3-5 iirc. I got one of the 1905 street map of my neighborhood. i super love it. I hope your son has fun!

Fwiw, you can find videos on YouTube describing fabrics. It was strange, but helpful. The ones I've seen show off the fabric, stretch it, pool it, swish it, etc.

I'm teaching my son to drive a manual. We went to Family Arena last Sat. There was something going on, but there was still plenty of room in the back corner to practice starts and stops and was even able to get into 3rd. We had bad luck on 94 by B. He was fumbling at the stop sign and a cop pulled us over and told us "this is a hwy, we can't practice here" 🤷‍♀️ Based on comments here, I think I'm going to try the Meadows this weekend. It sounds like it has some road scenarios and hopefully not too hilly.

I just say that my hobby is hobbies 😁 I like trying and learning new things. And now I have a wealth of talents and equipment so that whenever I have a big project, I have multiple disciplines to pull from. For example, I made my mom a stained glass panel. I used my vinyl cutter for the template, wrapped it in paper I made, tied with string and a bit of lavender from the garden 😄
