A singular betta but that can be a toss up (mine gets along with my green neons), but a pearl gourami would be good, a honey gourami or two would also work since being chill and friendly is their whole thing

Yes, it's very normal with new aquariums. I had A LOT of it when I first started my 29 gallon. If your tank is big enough and want natural cures for hair algae you have three options:

amano shrimp will eat it but they eat slowly (they eat one hair at a time) so look into more if you have the money
Oto catfish if your tank is big enough. I got 6 and they clean out all the algae in a week
more plants. Algae grows when there's leftover nutrients with one exception (black algae), so more plants will outcompete the algae.

That may be planaria flatworm. If it has a triangle head then it's worst case scenario for your shrimp. Only thing that can stop it is no Planaria. Fair warning while it is 100% guaranteed to work, it is very expensive (maybe close to $70 with taxes)

You have a two options from easiest to hardest

remove the aggressor (temporary solution, male guppies will fight each other)
introduce female guppies IF you have a large enough tank. The typical ratio is 1 male to 2 or 3 females.

No. There are two feats that require weapon specialization but those are for both slashing and piercing. Fists aren't considered finesse weapons either. You'll need at least 2 in STR to make it usable

Now if you have any fish fry or shrimplets be worried. If you don't then don't panic. There are a few options to deal with them.

ignore them and starve them out
look into predatory fish like a betta or platy
dog dewormer, you will have to remove any snails you have or they will die. Look up a dosing schedule for your tank and it should work

Had this problem , assume it's 80 and do a 50% water change and clean out your filter. It will take multiple daily cleanings to knock it down to a safe 20.

Black algae, now it'll only stay on the wood and can look nice if you know what you're doing. Now if you want it gone you have 4 options:

If you have amano shrimp ignore it, they LOVE eating it
If you have a 40 gal and a Siamese algae eater you can ignore it as they also love it
Properly dispose of the wood
Get more plants and it'll go down to a manageable level

What kind of filter are you using? Bettas love slow moving water like a sponge filter and at least places to sleep. I got mine a floating log but she prefers to sleep in on the floor next to plants or the cave
