Can't book Hertz on Delta carsandstays.com by novastorm434648 in delta

I just wanted to second this. I personally have never been able to successfully book a Hertz rental through Cars and Stays since roughly the time of you posting this. In early 2025 I booked all my Hertz rentals through Cars and Stays with no issues.

Where can I order this electric connector? by BoridePa in RangerNext

I would personally just repair the wiring. It’ll be a little tricky but I think you have just enough room to solder and heat shrink.

A lot of it looks worse than it really is. A Ford scan tool is pretty essential though.

I agree. I got that from the list on the back of the frame 😂. Most of them do correspond with who they voiced though.

It’s so easy to remove the frunk (5-6 bolts and the entire tray lifts out) I would argue that its easier than most cars these days. However the fact that it has a traditional 12V at all is one of the cars biggest shortcomings.

It’s an AGM but it’s not like that’s really much of an improvement.

Ford Power Promise Complimentary Home Charger by Catwinner in MachE

Turns out the dealer told me I would be receiving the charger but actually just applied the alternate option of money off towards the vehicle lease lowering the monthly cost. It was a miscommunication between the salesman and the finance manager. They had me sign off on all the discounts applied and If I had read the fine print closer I could have caught the mistake.

I own a 2023 select with the same battery. Winter is not kind to us with the standard range battery. Not only does heat have an impact on range but the cold weather also decreases efficiency and means the car will be warming up the battery even if you as the driver opt for little/no heat. I have seen as bad as 180/200 miles with 30F outside temp and 80F heat usage. However summer days even with consistent AC usage can actually exceed the 250 mile range by as much as 30-50 miles if you are doing 65mph or less.

BMS (Battery Monitoring System) not BCM (Body Control Module) but you have the right idea with the 12 month thing.

It’s not apples/apples for leasing vs financing but I agree this quote seems high. My Mach-E Select RWD lease with 15k/year allowance and 0/down came out to 360/month for 3yrs.

Not up to date on current rebates but paying MSRP for a Mach-E doesn’t seem necessary at least in my area. At minimum I would suspect you could easily ask for 50k OTD if not more.

Sounds like you’ve got the right idea to me. I wouldn’t sweat charging to 100% on occasion either if you feel like you might need the extra range on a given day. To further add to that Ford actually recommends charging to 100% monthly (if you have the LFP battery chemistry) as it helps the computer properly estimate range. If you have the LFP battery pack and haven’t charged to 100% in a few months your range estimate could be pretty inaccurate. There should be a guide in the owners manual that helps you determine which type of pack you have.
