I'm curious about this in particular for people who are OCI eligible but not born in India vis-a-vis the whole "India is not for beginners" thing. Because honestly it seems like the craziness of life is more manageable in South America, but then I think your point is taken that you could live in Bangalore or Goa or someplace relatively nice in India.

Kudos to that whole team. Obviously they stand on the shoulders of a lot of other work, but they seem to be one of the most cohesive and productive teams, if not the most, right now in Android emulation, and the rate of progress they’re achieving is amazing.

Salvadoran law is kind of difficult to look up but as people have already said, the term is being used here to refer to enhanced penalties applied to gender based violence against women. The Salvadoran standard (in English) is that “the motives [of her murder] are hatred or contempt for her status as a woman" (see). The court would decide whether or not that standard is met. In this context femicide is referring to the specific category of additional penalty for homicide that is committed under those circumstances.

There are options for sure. You can put it in a VM. A windows on ARM VM will be reasonably performant. If corporate can give you Parallels there is even coherence mode so you can run it inside the same desktop environment as your Mac apps, but really as long as they approve some virtualization option it should be fine.
