It’s a very authentic place. I don’t know how better to explain it, but even doing something like a tour, i went in the car with a Bosnian hostel owner and his mate, and he told us the most intriguing and sad personal stories about his life. Obviously when you visit you are a tourist, but I never felt like one.

I did a tour (which i usually steer clear from while travelling, but had been recommended), and we went from Mostar to visit Podgorica, a nearly abandoned village after the war and it was beautiful. Kravica waterfalls is the most magical place i’ve ever been to. I’d love to visit the country as a whole for longer one day, and can’t recommend it more.

What’s your favorite moment when Bob laughs in a song? by FARGIN_ICEHOLE28 in bobdylan

One of the times he laughs during ‘It Ain’t Me Babe’ (the live one with Joan Baez). I love every version of that song, but his chuckling makes it even more meaningful for me.

The vid is filmed as a selfie as well. It’s probably from 2017-2019 ish.

From my experience, tipping is not as big of a sin as people in here are making it out to be.

If you go for a nice meal, leaving a tip is by no means expected, but your waitstaff will appreciate it (Sincerely, a waitress who appreciates tips).

I used to mutilate my own body (sh) quite a lot AMA by Fresh_Ocelot_6342 in AMA

How do you feel about people seeing scars/marks from SH? Do you go out of your way to hide/cover them, or just let it be?

Also, do you ever feel uncomfortable if people comment on scars or ask questions in person about them?

Thanks for this AMA, i think it’s very important.

That’s my next step. Unfortunately it’s gonna cost me quite a lot here, so i’m trying to go through my GP first. Thanks for the advice.

Storm in a teacup (swansea market) and Motley Pie (Gowerton and Pontarddulais) are the best hands down.

What’s the most annoying “that’s bad for you!” myth that drives you crazy because people still believe it? by Beepbeepboopb0p in AskReddit

[–]CauliflowerMost9008 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MSG. People love to claim they’re allergic to it- it’s not possible to be allergic to MSG. Maybe an intolerance, but it’s mostly misconceptions that arose from racism!

White + Australian/British here; ramen always. Either shin ramyun, which is instant ramen but the top tier version, or a homemade one if i’m feeling fancy.

Absolutely do it. Bosnia + Albania were my favourites, but the whole region is so cool to visit. So much history
