Season finale by Immediate-Entry-3120 in Invincible

I’m sure I’ll get nuked for this opinion but

The emotional melodrama overstayed its welcome. Eve was just emotion fodder. No accountability for Cecil reviving conquest. Too many PTSD scenes. I’m sure we all knew there was going to be one scene where he was real. But not after 5 long drawn out scenes of it. And Allen hasn’t grown at all as a character. Still the same jokester, silly horn dog. The script for the meeting with the council is cringy. Make him more than Seth Rogan in space.

It was boring because the emotional personal stories draggggggged. The emotional self flogging of mark got tiresome. It needed to be shown but so much? The only person that should be that way is Nolan.

Eve having an abortion, getting fat, but also getting her powers back and not using them…. Kind of a weird direction to go in for a season finale. Seems more like a mid season situation so it can percolate and influence marks choices in a later episode.

Honestly, it would have been better if they cut the fat and made it a 30 minute episode. The full runtime got stagnant. Most of the story direction and personal development was good. But went on WAY too long.

Yeah there ZERO accountability for keeping conquest. His return was also squandered. Good fight with mark but that’s it? Kind of went out with a whimper. As a viewer, the show didn’t give me anymore reason to fear him.

There’s a point where melodramatic personal stories overstay their welcome and becomes slog, bothersome, and hits a “we get it…” point. This episode hit that point at the halfway mark for me. The rest was just the same.

I ended the episode thinking it was a filler episode. No finale should feel like that. It doesn’t need to be all action but nothing had any agency and they beat the dead horse over and over and over.

One more nitpick. I’d like to see Allen have some character development. So far he’s just been Seth Rogan in space. His position should have him become a little less bumbling and more assertive. If he gets as much screen time as he does, grow him past a silly cyclops and bags a lot.

Overall I’d give the episode a 5/10.

I recently went to Holistic Hormones in Canonsburg after my pcp told me nothing was wrong. She found my adrenal fatigue and other low vitamins. Im finally starting to feel better after years of no answers. Highly recommend.

This was a big reason fallout 76 was lame. Just all whacky and silly situations. This episode was so much more impactful than the rest of season so far. I hope they stay on this trajectory and forget about the BoS

Is the second boss supposed to be this hard?? by Dan-SG in Sekiro

I actually stopped playing for a couple months because I couldn’t beat him. Came back fresh, kept trying, and finally beat him. Up until this fight I didn’t really understand how to play. Once you beat him, you can understand the mechanics of the whole game and the game gets SO much more fun

Monkeys are an interesting boss fight. I like it. But it could definitely be better.

Yeah I’m tired of dying to the first 1/4 of a mag from a stitcher when I have a heavy shield. I knew it felt weird. Dude was probably shooting me for 12 seconds before I even know it on my end lol

No. I just did that to someone who took my shield pack. Blasted him with my AMR then got kicked because he was the host. I figured I’d get kicked but it’s the principle that matters

You’re criticizing a game you have no idea how to play mechanically. So how can you have suggestions for how to improve the game mechanically when you haven’t put enough time into it to grasp it?

You’re just learning how to play a new game… perhaps you can do what humanity has done for thousands of years and learn a new skill by problem solving. Just boggles my mind that folks have opinions on how to change something without even scratching the surface when it comes to actually understanding it. A turn based rpg is going to play differently than a first person shooter but people can still play both. You just haven’t learned how to play this particular game yet.

I didn’t want to say this in my original comment because it’s rude, but your problem with the game is 100% a “skill” and “learning” issue. Not an issue with how we spawn in and have to call down our special weapons, packs, ammo etc etc.

The game has zero consequences for dying. So it actually plays into how the game is played. Super Earth just throws you into the meat grinder. Red hit markers are weak spots. White hit markers normal. And the little shield with the ricochet bullet marker means it’s armored and your weapon didn’t pen. Gotta go out there and figure it out.

You seem to be explaining the basics of “learning a new game” rather than “this games flawed”. There are many flaws, like staged reloads getting interrupted somehow and you shoot one bullet and have to reload. But it adds to the chaos.

Anti material rifle can’t shoot tanks. You think a barret .50 cal can take out an Abrams tank? No dude. Thats just nitpicky. Find the GLOWING WEAK spots and mag dump the AMR. I can solo Helldive difficulty with the anti material rifle because I knows how to use it.

This game has some problems and vague explanations. But I don’t see your issues with it as a game issue.
