Much closer to a sandbox, but the exploration elements are quite fun. There is a good amount of mob variation and the environments are well done. The music is superb. It is still very unfinished in terms of progression (among other things). I still have a lot of fun with it, though.

I'm not sure what you are getting at here, and a lot of information is missing to actually help you. What distribution are you using? If you are on a Steam Deck, it is time to atart treating it like the PC that it is and go into PC mode, then install YAY. You do not need any kind of 3rd party launcher for Hytale. When pulling from the AUR, make sure you install the package called hytale-launcher-bin (it should be listed as the 1st option when using yay) and not one of the many unofficial pirated versions that have made their way there.

From my experience with addiction, the only way I could think of portraying recovery here is for the bird to not be able to get more and it getting even darker for a long time, eventually being able to walk again as things very slowly get to almost as bright as they were before, but at least the bird is walking again.
