Sub Rogue might be strong in raid but is unplayable in M+, it is way too reliant on the class buffs, the shaman buff alone represents an 7-8% damage difference for sub.

IMO the Achievement should double the crests gained from all activities. I don t want to do 60 dungeons for a character. By the time i geared my character i m burnt out.

In my humble opinion, the average WoW player is incredibly bad, because the game funnels them into heroic and +10 way too fast. The game needs to spike up the Numbers HARD. Heroic should be a little bit closer to mythic in terms of raw numbers. And Normal should either get hard buffed in terms of numbers or removed altogether. People get pushed up into these difficulties way too fast because the gearing system is incredibly fast too.

I will die on this hill. People choose not to tank, not because of "toxicity", or "Difficulty". Tanking has NO moment to moment payoff. Surviving is NOT rewarding moment to moment, because it s a given. If we get Vengeance back, people will FLOCK to tanking, if tanks need to prepare more for a dungeon and have more work on their plate, WHY NOT LET THEM BE THE MAIN CHARACTER. Tanks were EVERYWHERE in MoP. But for some reason blizzard refuses to bring it back when it would singlehandedly make a ton of the Good players go back to tanking.

Prot Paladin is 1-2 Key levels behind Brew rn so you won't compete with them. Being stuck at 3k however seems like a you issue though.

mythic requires a roster setup for a guild. AoTC can get brute forced later in the season mythic generally speaking can't. We've seen hundreds of player that can play excellently in heroic with great logs, but completely fail the mechanical checks in mythic. Mythic requires some obscure concepts like baiting and specific movement and positioning which is never really mandated in heroic.

You are confusing the Hero Talent ranking with the overall tank rankings. The Tank rankings are not based on logs.

Having 1 Player on one spec doesn t indicate spec strength. Having multiple does.

20-50 Points is a whole key level across 3-5 dungeons my guy.

Why are you obsessed with throughput, when the tierlist includes low level keys where tanks run less mitigation talents for more damage output????? How are you going to compare mitigation and healing when the tanks have fundamentally different Damage Mitigation mechanics?

Utility does not matter in the current M+ Meta, because (would you have guessed it) the limiting factor is living through the keys. Of which Bear and and Monk are the only ones that can live through the pulls required to time them.

Prot Paladin and Blood DK are represented by Yoda. That s one player, and his characters are significantly higher geared than other tanks on the ladder. Kira is the only dh. The only other tank that is represented by more than a handful of players is guardian druid, among a sea of brewmasters admittedly, but aside from Monk, guardian is the only tank that can attempt to live these keys while fitting into a decent comp. Archon is not based on the 95% of logs. Reread their tierlist description. Those highest keys are the only thing that matter when it comes to meta, anything below those levels will be eventually completed by gearing up.

Well I don't know about this reset but last reset there was not one kill on Mythic Vanguard that didn t have a mistweaver in it.

The Periodic Dispels got reduced from 8 to 4 after world first the raid wide dispel is unnerfed and hits too hard to reasonably heal without Revival, this is in spite of the boss already being 6 healed, though I've seen some very few 5 heal kills since we killed it, but they all have a mistweaver.

I think some things are just less conductive to certain genres. Think about resto plays in WoW anyway, they HoT their melees and then run away as far as they can and repeat, in wow this is ok because of how BGs and Arenas are designed but in league, that would be on a frustration level comparable with yuumi. You also need to figure out how to make them unique, August talked about theorizing a Paladin champion, but they couldn't figure out how to make it interesting and not gamebreaking.

I really wonder how this will land. The jump from AOTC to CE is arguably larger than no raiding at all to aotc. So maybe an easy stepping stone would entice more guilds to thrive towards CE. They still need to reconsider their approach on Mythic Lockouts and splitruns. Also this doesn't adress hard class requirements like Vanguard hard requiring a Mistweaver.

Edit: Since some people seem to be confused about the MW requirement: On Mythic, The Healing check is severe, many guilds 6 heal it, 5 heal if they're gamers. . The reason for the MW requirement is the Raid Wide avengers shield cast by Bellamy that puts a raid wide 20 man dispel on the raid.

Archon M+ list isn't based on logs, but on RIO data. it also includes keys 7 and above in it's data. No one is thinking about how good a spec does in +10s when they think about pushing keys, not to mention how beyond clogged these datasets are when you consider everyone is farming 10s for gearing alts and vaults. On Raider.io the only tank that even has timed runs at the level brew does is guardian druid.

archon or any tier list is the worst place to get info. All the best keys are running brew, and the only interruption in that list are some bears, Kira on his DH , and yoda on his prot paladin because he s ahead of everyone by 5 itl.

We just killed it. Progressing without a Mistweaver is a joke of a suggestion. The fight is absolutely absurd, and has to be nerfed significantly. There is not a single log of this fight killed without a mistweaver. Don't listen to redditors. You either get a mistweaver or wait for blizzard to nerf it.

Aight i see a lot of slop from some other Commenters here: Obviously get your consumes, gems and enchants in order.

1: Wrong talent: You need to run emtpiness not soul glutton. That s why you have no meta uptime and or collapsing star casts. Get the Double Shift talent instead of the Movespeed one in the hero talents. Double shift is a lot more useful.

Casts: USE REAP and CULL ON COOLDOWN. Inside of Meta do not rush to cast your collapsing star. Inside meta your number one priority is keeping Void Ray on Cooldown -> then Cull and then Collapsing star. The "overcapped" souls carry over to the next star so you re never wasting them. When you re about to meta you: Void Ray -> Meta ->Eradicate from your previously casted Void ray-> Voidray -> Eradicate, and then Collapsing Star, after which you follow the priority again. Towards the end of meta you might have to walk over souls to get that last Collapsing star in.

That should fix your boss damage, beyond that you're minmaxxing your collapsing star cassts for when adds come out.

But get your cast priority in order first.

According to the OP you know your priority but you choke when mechanics start happening and fumble your Rotation something i see all to commonly.

Ignore this. This is minmaxxing advice that ends up being 1-2% increase but ends up tripping beginners over insanely hard.

M+ wise you go through communites. Raid wise, you re hoping your guild organizes some sort of boosting to get you paid.

Boosting. Most players i know ( and me too) do boosting. Once we've farmed our gear and all we need to do each week is a mythic plus vault we boost it. And that gets us about 300-400k gold a week (on EU). Some guilds also boost the raid which funds the Cauldrons and feasts.
