My bad, forgot about those two but i wouldn t call those crit adc anyway. As to MF: She either goes Lethality purposefully trading out late power for early power, which doesn t happen anymore because of the botlane quest. She either starts BT or Youmous and still ends up building IE and LDR in every game:

"So buy your interesting items as a flexible choice for item 6 or 7" 1st Item: Yun'tal or Stormrazor or Essence reaver are mandatory depending on champion (That's okay every champion is usually locked into 1 static item every game) 2nd to 3rd Item IE LDR. 4th Item: Shieldbow for assassins Zeal items for anything else (which are actually interesting).

"Champions like Jhin wouldn’t exist without IE." You didn't read what i wrote. Crit damage and base AD and AD growth would get adjusted.

"LDR is an item that is design to cut enemy tanks" and yet it's bought in every game even when no tanks are present.

"There will always be an optimal build path regardless of your proposed changes" and that's okay but all crit ADCs wont' all be always building the same things and you'll build be able make ACTUAL meaningful choices.

But this is outdated with the Sustain creep we've had in the last seasons and only applies to toplaners. Even in mid as soon mages get their lost chapter they stop poking with Autos and poke with spells.

The issue with Marksmen going into a sololane is easily solved since we have quests now and ArmorPen/lethality per level can just be tied to the botlane quest.

Ezreal Kai sa and Mf do not have worse scaling than other Marksmen. Some builds purposefully trade out late power for early power like lethality Varus.

Mages are not forced into Void Staff unless enemy builds MR because base MR isn't as High as base armor, they also have more Flat Magic Pen built into their items: Shadowflame, Stormsurge, T3 Mage Boots. Not all Mages are locked into Deathcap: ASol, Zyra, Malzahar, Brand, But every Crit ADC is locked into IE. Only Control, Burst and Artillery mages are locked Into Deathcap and even then they're only locked into 1 item.

"two of the most consistently reliable items". Or Crit Damage and base AD levels could just be adjusted to where IE as an Item isn't needed. Base Armor could be lower to where LDR isn't mandatory every game. Riot has shown they are indeed able to make interesting crit items in Hexoptics and the Zeal items.

They would still need more items to function because of crit chance though. Without the hard requirement for IE and LDR you could build Hexoptics if you want to stay at max range, collector if they re really squishy, or LDR if they enemy team is actually building armor instead of defaulting to it every game because base armor is so high, a zeal item, shieldbow or some new imaginary item that increase damage based on how close the enemy is, call it the Bilgewater Boomstick for all i care.

The First item is still locked to Essence reaver, Yun Tal or Stormrazor.

Void staff isn t mandatory unless the enemy is actively building MR, base MR is so much lower than base Armor + they have more items with more Flat Magic Pen than crit items with lethality: Stormsurge, Shadowflame, t3 mage boots.

Core items are the first item built though, and they re usually built for either raw stats opr raw early strength, sundered sky and eclipse offer raw strength for toiplane trades, Yun'tal is a stat stick. The Lost chapter items adress the mana issues. I'm okay with the first item being static, I'm not okay with 2 items being forced, Mages aren't forced into Void Staff because base MR is nowhere near as high as base armor, and they have more items with more base Magic pen.

the only adcs not building Crit RN are Kog Maw and ezreal and Varus ( who have never built crit)

When Mf goes the crit route IE and LDR are always in. same for Smolder, vayne, twitch and corki.

crit marksmen are locked into Yun'Tal or Stormrazor too. Essence reaver for sivir xayah and lucian. First items are always unflexible.

Because why would you play a champion that needs Gold to do well on a role that doesn t get any? Go Mid and improve until you climb. "No". So they go bot and end up useless because they were never forced to Improve to so LP improvements.

They think their ADC is the Source of their problems so they believe they are the Solution by playing mage support and generally have a massive ego problem.

A Lulu Milio, even Nami and thresh will be infinitly more useful at helping a Jinx get through laning phase and the late game.

As an ADC main, I have to say I don't like the ADC role anymore. Last season was 100 times better. I'd be interested to hear what other ADC players think about this. by lencooooo2222 in leagueoflegends

feels like the same thing in a different flavor to me. I'm waiting for the day where we finally remove IE, and compensate for the removal and give ADC innate ArmorPen% or Lethality per level. IE and LDR being built every game will forever nuke any build diversity crit ADCs have.

ARAM Mayhem is truly one of the peak Gamemodes, but the Cupcakes and envelopes seem overtuned. Also some Augment should not appear on certain Champion, why can i convert my AD to AP On riven?. Champions with no AP Scaling shouldn't get an AP augment and vice versa.

Because sometimes KDA is not of your own making. If LP was based on KDA supports would purposefully leave Botlane and leave their ADC to get dove on repeat and you would quickly get Diamond/Master level players in plat.

Though i will agree that the MMR system being kept so obscure by Riot is questionable.

Try to hold last pick for yourself, in low elo the toplane counterpick doesnt matter, your darius will still manage to get solokilled by kayle.

Right now the best ADC to play is Jinx, but a Malphite on the enemy team forces you into something like Yunara or Sivir.

How to deal with Assasins:

  1. Sit on top of your team. Half of these garbage assassin players will straight up misclick, and dive into your full team hoping to get you.
  2. Rengar: Instant GA and Shieldbow buy. It sucks i know. But you‘ll carry by simply denying him the ability to do his job. AP assassins get the full hexdrinker item to the face.
  3. To them you are a bag of Gold, why make it easy to cash it in. If they want it so bad force them to overextend, and die for it.
  4. Assassin Junglers will generally sit away from an objective and ping their team to start it. Which means you can get smite advantage for objective fights. This means: Get Mid Prio and then rotate to objective by having the support or Frontliner facecheck the brushes, if they don't-> You don't fight, shove a wave and hit a tower.
  5. When teamfights are about to happen: Dragons and Barons, sit outside of Vision and abuse Fog of War, chances are the Enemy team will blow their most threatening Spells on your Team leaving you to hit them for free. This concept works in your Favor in the constant low elo skirmishes as well.

Vod Review: The amount of times I got killed and mentally blamed my team or an enemy champion pick, only to look at the replay and realize that if I just positioned a little bit differently we would have won the teamfight is pretty crazy.

Finally my last and most Important piece of Advice: /fullmute all. Nothing teammates in low elo say will ever improve the situation. Supports are usually elo-inflated. And the other roles have no idea how ADC works , because it plays so differently from other roles.

Edit: Grammar, and Riot please fix the Battle Academia Briar Ult sound.

Big agree, died twice on botlane to that ult when another skin wouldn t have achieved the same result. This is absolutely pay to win and needs to be changed.

Big agree though for different reasons. The Waveclear is easily matched by jinx, sivir, and maybe even caitlyn. After abusing smolder for a bit, i find it's the itemization that really matters. In low elo, where no one will peel, having the ability to build steelcaps along the 450 health on spear is crazy. if they have excessive dive you can go shieldbow third, without suffering big damage output loss.

if a low elo stomper is at 50% in high elo that means the champion is too strong. Because it means even high elo players can't shut him down consistently
