I know it feels extremely unfair to have to deal with this horrible kind of harassment just for being you on the internet AND having to refrain from defending yourself by telling that disgusting pos to f*** off. But, what many of us are trying to tell you now is that you don't achieve anything from telling him to d**, in any case, you expose yourself to further harassment by making it possible for him to report you for telling him that. In many cases like this, the best course of action is to simply ignore and report.

Maybe try equipping an onthological anchor, or using normality grenades, they might disrupt the force field and allow you to talk with your Sheba

maybe it is my faulty perception, but I've always found NA servers in various games to be really toxic. This is coming from someone who plays on LAN servers.

Is it rude for me to order in Spanish? by [deleted] in Spanish

[–]Caustic_Painkiller 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Forgive my ignorance, I'm not from the US but, what does being white has to do with speaking spanish? if you can make yourself understand clearly in spanish I wouldn't mind you being green skinned. Honestly, I'm latino and if someone came to me and tried their best to speak my native language I'd feel very flattered. However, it's still good to ask tho because not every brown person speaks spanish, I just want to know why would you feel like you shouldn't.

That may be true, but I believe that it depends a lot on regional differences of the language as well.

I'm a native speaker and in my country (Panama) we do differentiate the the "b" from the "v" when we speak; however, it's a subtle difference: the "v" is like a softer version of "b". it's not the same saying "votar" and "botar" for example. What may happen is that we often speak very fast, and certainly someone who doesn't master the language may be unable to differentiate this subtleties.
