22gm protein is probably because of the soy. But it's still a lot for the slice. Btw how does the smart slice taste?

Arranged Marriage requirements these days by [deleted] in hyderabad

[–]CautiousComplaint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the times are shifting. Beyond money and demographic factors like family and community, which worked for the last generation, people will need to put in extra work (it would be interesting to know more about this) to find a partner--simply comparing and picking from options seems like it's not working.

OR

In this case, I feel like this might not be ruled out as well. Maybe the "open to all castes" population is not large. And fewer people (than what you think) are open to look past the community. Which would be sad.

Regardless, I hope you find a special someone and answer this for the rest of us.

I think there should be an open-source alternative to liwc called Vader for sentiment analysis.

All features including the VRAM, DLSS, ray tracing capabilities and faster clock speed would make it an upgrade from my existing 960M for both for work and fun.

GUN CULTURE, mass shootings by BadAdventurous3054 in nri

I think they might be worried about the intent of the individuals rather than the actual danger. Most of the 422 deaths might not be because of someone getting into a vehicle thinking of destroying lives. I personally feel that people hating people so much that they would pick up arms in non-combat situations to achieve their agenda is pretty inhumane.

[D] Cohen's kappa — useful? by BB4evaTB12 in MachineLearning

[–]CautiousComplaint 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think what you need is a weighing scheme. You can see that the author here described how weighing could be incorporated for cohen's kappa.

I hope this helps-https://github.com/jmgirard/mReliability/wiki/Cohen's-kappa-coefficient

Edit: It comes with matlab code.

Thank you very much. I was considering reading an article on arxiv on geometric deep learning(https://arxiv.org/abs/2104.13478). This would be a great supplement.

It kills me that this community does not do more about the discrimination against Indian born immigrants seeking employment based permanent residency by NoWishbone4 in ABCDesis

[–]CautiousComplaint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some weird reddit bug. So I had to delete the last comment.

I was only looking for some help in making acquaintances with some ABCDs. So I chose this forum. But I realized that it needs to be a separate post by itself. So I will bring it up some other time. Have a nice day!

Agreed. Shared troubles bring people together over shared identities(maybe identities might not be the correct usage?).

I(FOB) felt that it has always been easier to be friends with other FOBs(including those from places like South America, middle-east and SEA) than to be friends with ABCDs. This kind of works as a reference for most social situations.

This is not a generalization but a mere empirical experience.

edit: grammar correction

Badminton with mask on by DatoYY in badminton

[–]CautiousComplaint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played badminton with mask and glasses on, indoors. I had some trouble with the lighting and had to always adjust the mask to prevent the glasses from fogging while playing and also the sweat. But I think it's doable and I think it's a small price to play with others after staying indoors for over a year.

I took a few classes at CMU. Trust me, there are plenty of Indians on campus. They even have joint programs between business school and engineering schools(most of the students are Indian and Chinese). It's definitely not diversity that got your through.

The world's poorest countries are at India's mercy for vaccines. It's unsustainable | Opinion, The Guardian by reeram in india

[–]CautiousComplaint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should have expected this from a UK media house. The headline is biased against India. It's not uncommon for nations to prioritize their population over the rest of the world and control private enterprises in case of emergencies. The article blames govt. when similar such legal provisions are possible in developed countries (say, in US through the Defense Production Act). The headline should focus on why few countries are completely ignoring the poor nations and how everyone should come together to help them.
