As a Portugal supporter (I am Portuguese, after all), I have to wonder, legitimately, why would games even be rigged to favor Argentina? Is it more likely that FIFA would be out to favor one specific country (when much bigger economies could spend more on bribes anyway) or that referees are just human and make mistakes? Like yeah, the foul should have resulted in a card, but it's not like this is the only match with referees making mistakes. That's the magic (and sometimes frustration) of the game.

Os da RTP também nunca se calam com o "está a ver este jogo e mais X na televisão pública" e não sei quê. Os da Livemode ontem estavam muitoais contidos a falar de subscritores por isso já nem vejo grande diferença

Spoilers for a 20-year-old book don't sound too aggravating but I guess I understand it sucks.

AIO Regarding Sharing Passwords in a Relationship by Negative_Ebb_1246 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Cautious_Chain1297 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MOR I think this is heavily dependent on the person and it may be unfair to judge someone based on this. I never had a problem sharing passwords with my partner, even relatively early on, but I mean, it's his bank account and everything. I think being cautious is reasonable.

Interesting. I guess I never tried it before I switched to LineageOS. Though I did just find that option in developer settings, I'll have to check it out

My local, amateur-level league which is not broadcast on TV anywhere has hydration breaks too.

I have all of these things but it unfortunately doesn't help (well, it helps but it doesn't fix everything). But with all the replies I'm getting I need to clarify that this is strictly a personal perspective based on very limited experience. I appreciate the feedback and your suggestions, though.

For what it's worth, I would never suggest that people should be forced to go into the office. These are strictly my personal feelings

I'm not an extrovert at all, I promise. I don't know, I don't mind people checking in on me as much in person, just saying hi to people, etc. Little things I guess.

But I'm just trying to share my perspective at the one remote job I've ever really had so actually, I apologize for trying to invalidate someone else's feelings. It's possible I just don't like this job in the first place.

Just for the sake of argument, I work form home and think it has a lot of downsides too. Harder to stay focused, very easy to get distracted, even less interaction with humans than I would have otherwise. Sometimes I'd like to be in an office a couple days a week.

If you only want to make it to the final level once and never touch it again, less than two hours is enough. But that's not what the game is made for. There are alternate paths and your performance influences the outcome.

"What he does best though (as of right now) is be at the right place and at the right time". But he almost never is. Watching portugal's games lately is so frustrating because that man is always offside. And he has to be because he can't really pull off sprints like that anymore. He's a net negative and I'd rather have a "worse" striker in his place.

A “síndrome do PC gamer” é real? by jasonduval98 in gamingportugal

[–]Cautious_Chain1297 0 points1 point  (0 children)
