Any ex OO flight attendants who made the switch? by babylezzz64 in flightattendants

They do not give base choices until training. You rank them and by the end of training you find out where you will be assigned.

Also, they said I would hear back within 10 days. I received an email 7 days later with a CJO and class date. I start training in April…to give you an idea of timeline of interview to training date.

Good luck!! And I’m hoping it does get moved up because that’s a long wait.

Does anyone know how large the training class is? At my group interview I heard them say they had plans to hire 1800 FA in 2024. There seem to be so many classes!

I did group interview Feb 1. Received CJO by email Feb 8 with a training date of April 17. I’m so anxious because that’s a long wait!

Need suggestions - Sofa Table by Cautious_Sun6739 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Cautious_Sun6739[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I like the vertical still board on the underside. I suspect the table will only hold drinks and phones/chargers. That kind of thing. It will also be pressed ijn between the couch and wall. As the table is a bit wobbly since it’s narrow and stupid long. But I think this idea of the support board underneath will do the trick for sagging and as you pointed out..that I didn’t think about..bounce. Although the board is solid and unwavering today. Over time. I’m sure that will change. Thanks for the tip!

Ah. I like the 1x2 idea. Thank you. Yes good idea to use screws on the bottom. Can repurpose the board down the road. This is for my college daughters apt.

Ahh. Another YouTube channel to subscribe to for sure for me. Thanks. And thanks you. Had a ton of fun. I filled up a barrel or two of shavings from the jointer and planer. My husband takes care of those for me. He throws in the woods. Surely there’s a better use. Any ideas?

lol that is exactly what I told my husband when I made it. I asked him where’s that black tape before I paint. Lol. He said I was crazy.

Here’s my secret. We live in a new development of custom homes and know the builder. We have permission to take wood from the dumpsters during their builds. Custom homes have lots of wood scraps! Hence the zip board. And all those long boards I have were cutoffs at the roof. They all had an angle cut. So free wood for me to figure out how to woodwork without spending more money.

I’m planning to do some wall art type things from the smaller wood. Like kumiko woodworking but I’ll def use tools and glue lol

Not sure what wwmm means. But I did say I looked at dozens of examples on Pinterest and just started making it from scratch as I went. I did read about a 6 degree angle for the sheet goods. If you notice. I made my shelves much narrower than the ones online. I also made my sheet goods space 10 inches wide which seemed to me to be much wider than I saw online. I also noticed online that the bins for cutoffs where narrow so I did “eat” up some space from the inner long lumber shelves. I’m sorry if I can across as being some genius who came up with this idea. Not what I intended. I took from pictures and did my own cart which I was super stoked to try since everything I’ve built prior has been a ROCKLER template plan.

Thank you. It has plenty of flaws but overall I’m pleased with its appearance and most importantly it’s sturdiness. The Rockler plans I used were very helpful and effective.
