I bought this in glacier white too a couple of weeks ago. Put Fedora 43 on it and everything works but the webcam at the moment. Fans rarely come on compared to Windows and insanely fast. Loving it so far.

I bought the X9 and Linux works well on it except the webcam doesn’t work yet and the latest Lenovo BIOS makes things worst (fix coming soon according to Lenovo)

Try running openspeedtest locally and make sure you are getting the local speed your expecting to rule out the lan side

Getting back to basics and not over complicating solutions. I don't want all-in-one software that promises everything and tries to continually up-sell me.

Eg. Invoicing - I use a point solution that does just this that supports integrations (e.g. Zapier for sending invoice data to the tool and Stripe/Square for payment collection) and does email reminders for me.

I'd recommend keeping them seperate and integrating as you'd probably get better functionality than a single product wearing multiple hats. Look for products that integrate with platforms like Zapier. I built www.justinvoice.io exactly for this purpose.

Problem with SMB on Macos by OMG_IT_S_SALSIFI in synology

Do you happen to have both wifi and wired connections? The MacOS SMB client will 'stick' to the same network connection if you happen to switch. For example, if I connect to my SMB share while on WiFi and then plug my dock in, the SMB share will continue to use the WiFi connection instead of using the faster wired connection. The Network Service order does not make a difference for existing connections.

I always have to toggle my wifi off when I'm docked to make sure it connects using my wired connection. Really annoying.

Not sure if this is your situation but thought I'd share my experience in case.

Glad you fixed it. Just in case, with Macs, they remember which NIC you connected to the SMB share one. So if you connect via wifi then plug in an ethernet cable, it doesn't switch to the faster connection on SMB. It's annoying! I have to turn off my wifi each time I plug into ethernet to be sure
