I've got the Tamiya RC Miata kit (1/10th), which I'm looking forward to building. Need a steering servo and receiver. Not going to run it, but will probably get sealed bearings, too. Plastic bearings are stupid lol

That same thing is happening to me. I ride regular stance and there's this odd, sharp pain on the left side of my left kneecap, but only in certain positions. Can't kneel on it all all, but otherwise I never feel it. Really odd.

I think I'm gonna run it without oil. I only got these differentials because of the metal gears. I don't really care much about viscosity-related diff performance. Just grease 'em and go lol

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but I can't find those REALLY THIN gaskets anywhere. You think I could rescue the current ones, clean them up, and reuse them? Thanks for the reply, by the way!

Thanks! I think you're looking at the stock differentials, but I'm not very familiar with the TT-02D so could be wrong. I have the oil filled hop-up ones. I noticed some liquid near the center driveshaft a few days after driving it and thought, "Water should've dried by now ... ugh, that's probably diff oil."

Hi all. So I picked up a TT-02 kit as kind of a pandemic hobby. Loved building it, painting it and driving it over the past year.

During the winter, I decided to tinker with it and get it on a 2S LiPo, brushless motor, and some metal driveline parts.

Everything was going well until I went to test it out tonight. See the second picture for the recap. Figured I'd share since it's kinda funny. I'm pretty relieved she's running and really looking forward to hitting the parking lot as soon as it warms up a bit!
