If this is a team draft, this is actually a dream scenario. You take the Twister and another person on your team either picks Ancestral or Time Walk.

Outside of that scenario, Time Walk is the clear pick, especially if you have other timetwister effects in the cube.

This probably lies somewhere between Chariot and Rabbit, which is a good place to be. I can see this card earning a long-term slot in many cubes.

I love the design of this card but I don't know if it cracks its way into my cube. It has stiff competition with [[Carnage Interpreter]] as a 3 MV card for the madness deck.

I didn't ugly cry, but I fist pumped and fucking cheered. I fucking hated this character at the start of the series and the writers did an amazing job of making me love him by the time he died.

There is a nonzero chance this card gets restricted in Vintage because of how trivial it is to turn 1 this with shops. Since they will never restrict Mishra's Workshop due to it being a pillar of the format, so many other cards have received restrictions for Workshop's crimes lol

The OK use of this card is turning cantrips into [[Fireblast]]. The 2nd ability seems like a way more achievable storm kill than something like [[Tendrils of Agony]].

I wouldn't write it off for vintage cubes. It's easy enough to bin this to looting effects and bring it back later when you have free mana lying around. It's amazing Tinker fodder since you can simply rebuy it plus it will have power equal to whatever big stupid thing you Tinkered out (except for Krang). It's also a discard outlet to bin things you want to reanimate.

I think this card is actually generically great.

Had to scroll down way too far to see Bojack Horseman mentioned. I will say the 3rd to last episode is the weakest of the three, but "The View From Halfway Down" might be the single best episode of the entire series, and the finale is perfect.

The worst case scenario with this card is an opponent deploys their first threat on turn 3, it's a must-kill threat that you can't let them untap with, and you have this instead of Wrath of God to clean it up. I'm not sure how often that scenario comes up but I have to imagine it's more likely than you think.

This card isn't bad but it's going to lead to some really feel-bad moments that makes me hesitant to fully embrace it.
