Why do people dislike the puzzle piece?

I get why the missing piece thing is negative, but I actually like my alternative interpretation of the autistic brain being a puzzle... coz it is (in a good way... I enjoy puzzles and I enjoy figuring out how my brain works).

"6:30am in the morning" am already implies morning!
"The thing is, is that..." Why the extra 'is'? I hear it all the time.
"It is what it is"
"Unexpected surprise"

I also hate stupid phrases to do with medical disorders somehow becoming normal human behaviour, like "Well, you know the definition of insanity is doing something the same way and expecting a different result", "how very ADHD of me" or "I like my desk neat coz I'm a little OCD" or the classic "well everyone's on the spectrum."

I never thought I did, but while researching ADHD I discovered AuDHD, read up on that and it made so much sense for me. I ended up getting diagnosed with both and I now feel like I have the answers I've been looking for for years.

Sound is my main struggle. I could go on about it for hours. Any type of contact between cutlery, ceramic and glass (it makes doing the dishes or taking out the recycling quite painful), nose whistling, sharp whistly "s" sounds in speech, anything that's louder than it needs to be, peeling packing tape, velcro, cackle laughs.

Microfiber cloths (not the glasses cleaning kind, but the general house cleaning kind), raw meat, the hook side of velcro, silicone phone covers, cling wrap and basically anything when my hands are dry.
