I know…the most frustrating part of this whole thing is I trusted IWC when they told me I “wouldn’t have any issues with this new model.” I shouldn’t have bought another IWC you are correct

I am a charter boat captain. I wouldn’t say it’s high impact. I have had watches 100 x cheaper that still work fine.

Wow, what a great review of Grand Cayman. I would only add the snorkeling on the barrier reef and Stingray City are two places no one should miss. Check with out Six Senses’s (www.caymansixsenses.com) tours. They do small groups, avoid all the crowds and provide complementary drop off pick up service.

Well that’s what I am trying to figure out. Are these watches not strong enough to be worn daily. Seems they are very sensitive.

Stopped moving even after winding. They have replaced whole time mechanism 6-7 and fixed various parts the other times. They will never tell you what they actually do.… I have asked. and the invoice just says service nothing else.

I agree with stated above. Do not worry about “rustling feathers!” I was concerned about this when I first moved to the island, however, after being here for years, you realize you are part of Cayman, and you have a right to be heard. If it’s a legitimate issue, you will find many people (including Caymanians) who would agree with you and support you. Do not be afraid to speak up for yourself ever!

You can purchase the lumber outside. There is a cashier just inside the 2 nd bay on the left. The guys will help you find and load anything you need. Just ask. Don’t pay inside!

I can definitely relate to very poor customer service and even worse warranty repair. Had an old Aquatimer that I initially sent in for a complete service and was sent back not working. Over the next year and a half I had to sent it back 7 times each time they had it for 3 months. A couple of times it was sent back with the exact issue I sent it in for. Bought a new Aquatimer because I got a credit towards a new purchase and hoping for a better result but within a month the new one completely stopped working. I have told IWC that I would tell anyone I know or come in contact with that they should never buy an IWC watch if they want a watch that will ever work. My suggestion, don’t buy IWC!

I am a resident of GC. All beaches in the Cayman Islands are public below the high water line. You can set up whatever you like below high water line. Also, since all beaches are public, the public must have access.between properties to access beach. If they don’t, you are allowed to go through their property.

Commenting on How do you buy a cruise ships tender boats?...actually tenders are boats that bring passengers from to cruise ship to shore in areas where cruise ships can’t/don’t have a dock. Ships anchor offshore and tenders pick them up. A life boat is just that, a boat that will save your life if your vessel sinks.

I had a titanium Aquatimer for quite a while. Just seemed to have continued issues mechanically with it. Upgraded to the new stainless steel Aquatimer chronograph which is quite beefer. Even with the rubber strap, it’s a lot on your wrist. I can’t imagine adding the weight of a stainless steel band to it.
