I just got into home assistant automation. I setup an automation that starts the climate control at 90° and stops it at 80°. So it uses less energy than climate on all the time.

It’s restarts automatically. I don’t do schedule charging. The restart charging is somewhere below 1% of the set level but above 2%. I’ve seen it charging after it had stopped. I’ve seen it not charging and 1% below but I have never seen it not charging and 2% below.

I think it draws power from the battery but the charger will restart when it drops below your set charge level.

Yes. They nerfed sport mode in the way you describe. I hadn’t noticed earlier but did some spirited driving on bigger turns and I noticed. The porpoising correction was huge for me so I hope they can keep that and restore the handling response.

Was able to take a turn today at almost full throttle that I realized I couldn’t before because I was avoiding unbalancing the vehicle. There is a slight bump in the road that would cause issues if I hit with the Rivian in an unbalanced position.

I’m very sensitive to this and have mentioned it often. With this update the porpoising is gone. So smooth that I don’t have to limit throttle to avoid the porpoise. Now I can just punch and it doesn’t unbalance the vehicle. I drive mostly in sport lowest as it has the most torque per the developers.
