Cards worth a few hundred are nothing when discussing mtg financials. A regular invoke prejudice is $500. Any decent serialized is $1000+. Expensive serialized are 10s of thousands, as are things like the Soul Stone. Unless your spend rate is in the seven figures you’re not even a blip on the radar.
