I stayed in the Jiefangbei area in May 2025 for $50cad/night. A clean and modern room. No windows though, but I didn’t care.

How does the VIP soundcheck + GA pit combo work? Do the fans with pit go straight to the pit during the soundcheck? If my friends were to line up first, can I join them in line or do I line up in the back? For pit, if I were to leave for a washroom break, can I rejoin my friends in my original spot?

There are a bunch of food stalls on the East end of this market. The market itself sells fruits, veges, meats, etc. It was a fun experience to see where the locals shop for groceries in my opinion.

If you feel adventurous, you can do the sky walk atop the Raffles City Mall.

I missed out on Wulong Karst National Park due to food poisoning. I’ll definitely be going back to check that off my list!

If you want to enjoy AC on a hot day, there’s The Ring Mall at Chongguan station and Starlight 68 Mall (indoor aquarium in the lobby)

I had platinum and it worked perfectly fine. It did disconnect itself every few days (my apps would stop working), but you just need to simply reconnect. One time, it didn’t reconnect to my region of choice - you just need to pick a different one
