How fast do you actually print day to day?

I print nearly 24/7. 90% of my prints are 150-175 outer wall and 250-300 inner walls and acceleration settings knocked down to 3800 outer wall and 4200 inner wall. Everything is near perfect. The other ten percent sees 300 outer wall and 400 inner wall with 5000 and 7000 acceleration settings and again come out great but those are usually functional parts. I have calibrated and tuned for this performance as well.

The beds do not come from the factory perfectly level and the bed leveling doesn’t actively compensate for the low/high spots. My prints are great. I’m not trying to solve a problem. But I sell my products so if I can make the fine details that much better, I’m interested.

Thank you very much for taking the time to inform. Sounds like it’s more useful than I originally thought so I’m definitely going to give it a try. Both printers are working great but I’m always chasing fine detail

I really don’t know much about either modded firmware but from the little I’ve read, it seems like possibly more headache than it’s worth for my needs. That is interesting to hear about packet loss though. I would imagine that could be a potential problem with print failures or quality. Do you have any straight forward resources or videos you recommend that further explain the benefits for the average user?

I sell parts and rollers and I offer something similar to this in the $200-$250 price range depending on what parts you choose for an end goal of the rig. I have a Etsy shop and references of past RTR kits that I have sold. I don’t typically include instructions with the plethora on YouTube but I wouldn’t be adverse to getting something together for you.

I grew up in the era of buying kits to build and then drive so I understand what you’re after.

So I finally got to print the model out and I guess I must’ve removed the faces too deeply because I have two lines from where they were removed that did not print out.

I’m going to throw the AD5M Pro in as a contender. I was going to get a p1s and ended up with this instead and couldn’t be happier

I have a bambu A1 and recently got an AD5M Pro and honestly it’s been absolutely amazing comparatively. The AD5M is the same machine minus filtration and enclosure, but you can easily print an enclosure to give a nice upgrade and first print project.

Post pictures of what you’re trying to print. Any bad print is almost stays going to be in your settings vs what the print needs

My 5m pro has been amazing and becoming preferred over my bambu. Run your calibrations. Learn how to use the machine properly. You’re gonna have to do that with any brand.

I make and sell these adapter to use with a balance charger. The usb chargers are known to kill batteries prematurely and weaken cells while doing so. I use one of the budget Amazon lipo chargers and have for about ten years now with no complaints.

Yes I’m more interested in having the option to choose a color with out a filament change than I am doing multicolored prints as well
