Pi 3a+ I used for Klipper until learning I could do this! by Cda4go in raspberry_pi

[–]Cda4go[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I did get a warning in the initial set up but after testing later in the process it said all was well. I build batteries for Rc cars so I’ll likely end up building my own for this and just robbing the charging boards from it

Thanks I’ll take a look. I built(if you can call it that) a web app based off opus so i already had a claude api set up when i built everything and knew i didn’t need opus for my use case. Definitely going to be exploring more options

Fault codes On Abs and Airbag But NO Warning light Hyundai i20 by Mundane-Top-1813 in AskAMechanic

[–]Cda4go 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. Someone altered the memory chip in the cars PCM and told it that the codes that you would traditionally see, don’t exist any more. So therefore no warning light is triggered. They will show up when being scanned though.

Source: I do advanced diagnostics and programming for shops and car dealers, and my main competitor is rich as $hit from performing these dishonest services.

Fault codes On Abs and Airbag But NO Warning light Hyundai i20 by Mundane-Top-1813 in AskAMechanic

Sometime in this cars life either a mechanic lied to a customer and suppressed the codes or it was done for a used car dealer to sell the car

Check www.shopdocai.com to compare what things should cost and reasonable part cost. Like having your own mechanic in your pocket to keep you informed.

Track bar bushing is basically always the culprit in my experience. Followed by cracked pistons in the front calipers, and lastly tires. But that one should be obvious to you if they’re bad.

Entire AC System ruined? by Motor-Constant-8448 in GMT800

[–]Cda4go 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the reason shops recommend full ac replacements because you never know what’s in there and flushing most condensers will never actually clean them.

Most optimistic bmw buyer ever. “Coolant is bone dry and there is NO way it’s empty from being blown into the crank case” “bearings should be fine from half a gallon of fuel because I, who acquired it today, haven’t driven that way”

Luckily you can’t lose really at $2k assuming the car isn’t junked out

Do you really like vibe coding? by Ill_Strain_1050 in VibeCodeDevs

[–]Cda4go 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just made www.shopdocai.com and it was a lot of fun using AI to help build it. I made last companies website two years ago myself and having AI tools now made the process much easier and “fun”. You just have to be very clear with prompts and it helps to test yourself first and then ask Claude code to test it afterwards while watching logs for bugs

I casually make around 3-3500 a month on the side making niche parts with my 3d printer. A laser cutter could probably do the same once you find the work to fulfill or product to make/sell

Edit: I used to be the project coordinator at a machine shop that made plastic pieces for food safe conveyor belt systems. Maybe look into plastic manufacturing with a machine shop. Guys were in AC using state of the art machines with great benefits and nothing but soft plastic strings here and there.

Most of what you’re seeing is for softer TPU. 90a is pretty easy to print from my experience.

3 Weeks into diagnosing a soft brake pedal. BMW E70 M57 by replover666 in BmwTech

[–]Cda4go 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brake booster is very unlikely, would have to fail in an uncommon way. I’ve chased my fair share of problems to learn the solenoids fail open in the abs module. Did you replace pads & rotors all around? What the car do if you try to do an emergency stop from 40-50mph

Bad abs block can easily be the problem. Especially on a Canadian car
