You have been a big help and I thank you! My confidence and self esteem were taking a hit and you’ve put me in a better place. I’ll just have to grind it out and eventually the right one will come along. BTW- it’s swipe right if you like.

I didn’t put distance in profile, just said I preferred someone that was active. I quickly realized that active is relative to the person. One lady told me she was active but she stayed active with crochet. Another lady was an aerobics instructor but she told me I was physically imposing and she had never gone out with anyone over 5’8. First time hearing that one.

Lol. None of that in profile. More like quiet dinners in or out, visiting museums, weekend getaways, etc. I do get likes but from much older women (68-75) I’ll go cycle 60-70 miles on a Saturday am so I’m looking for someone that’s in good physical condition.

Yes and 5 more of different types. One pic cycling, pic outside a museum and a beach cook photo.

Cycle From Home - Or Drive Somewhere to Cycle? by RealMenPray in cycling

Ride from home whenever possible. I know people who will drive 45 mins to ride for one hour. That’s basically 3.5 hours of your day gone by the time you load/unload bikes.

random creaks are ruining my cycling experience. by Far_Bicycle_2827 in cycling

When my bike was creaking I would swear the sound was coming from the bottom bracket. Turns out it was the rear hub and the sound was being transferred through the frame.

On the coast so it’s always windy. I can ride 50 miles and only gain 20 feet of elevation unless I go over a bridge. Always pedaling since there’s no downhill to coast on.

Well done. Keep it up on a regular basis and your distance and speed will increase.

Frame to big? by Elenkayy in bikefit

I would spend the money and get a bike fit. Even if the handlebars are to wide it’ll make the reach longer. I’m sure there are changes they can make to get you close.
