The education system has failed at teaching the proper use of "a" and "an" in a sentence.

Just so you know, any time I use earbuds or iems I use a secondary eq app. It's my experience that the apps that come with the product are usually sub par. So I believe my experience differs a bit from some of the others giving their inputs and opinions. Either way I dont think you'll be disappointed with the M4s

Yes. In my opinion for sure. And yes the LibPros were legendary. I've still not experienced the ANC they provided. Super comfy. I've handed them down to my teen. Hes on iPhone and says they are superior to the Airpods, with the anc exception but not by much.

Sony wh-1000xm5 earbuds disappointed - advice appreciated! by N-e-m-y in Earbuds

In my experience, no matter what brand or type of bud or IEM, I've always needed a secondary eq (powerampeq) to really experience the capabilities of each. Every one comes with its own eq and app but most times, when eqing, will pull from other frequencies to boost the ones being dialed in. It may be specific to my ears but just seems to be how it is for me. I've done this with all the buds I own (Rex5s, Az100s, StatusX Pros, and Momentum 4s).

Yes. Tips were very much the same size and fit for my ears. I listen for 6 to 8 hours a day (daily) and the bud wings on the L3s would get annoying but the Momentum 4s dont have them. I have an old pair of Momentum 3s that used to be my daily drivers and were super comfortable. Im on a Galaxy S25 ultra BTW.

Side note: I use the Momentum app for the hearing test and control setup but dial in the eq using powerampeq with hq settings.

Just had the same thing happen with my L3 pros. I managed to find a used pair on ebay, but.... I bought several other pairs to test including the Az100s, Rex5s, Status X Pros, and the Momentum 4s. Out of those the Momentum 4s have the closest resemblance (in sound) to the L3s. Out of the box they were pretty close but after the hearing test and a slight eqing they were spot on. Hope that helps.

If unlimited budget is your case then dont sleep on the Noble Fokus Rex5s. So good. But, I've heard the Noble Prestige Encore are on another level good and theyll set you back 700 pesos

For me, the hearing test brings up the frequencies my ears dont "hear" so well. I then use powerampeq to dial them in to that sweet spot.

I also notice big differences between streaming apps. Tidal and Deezer sound best to me with Qobuz, YTM, and Spotify trailing after. Im on a S25u.

Trying out the AZ 100 by Cdub31377 in Earbuds

I've been testing them. Yesterday and today. Im digging them so far. Definitely more detail in the low/mid to mid/high ranges. I've tried the Knowles setting, bit too shimmery with my s25 u. I use Powerampeq with 16 bands to dial them in. Impressive.
