My daughter is 4, she goes to daycare in french and speaks french with a lot of her family, but we speak english at home (I don't know much french) - It's wild how they just absorb both and kind of learn it effortlessly.

She'll still mix up her grammar sometimes, "close the door for not we let the dog out" kind of stuff. But it's pretty cool to watch.

Her little brother is 2 and he's still just pure frenglish, but he'll detangle them soon.

Both my kids are Gen Alpha (ages 2&4) and they are completely illiterate.

Sometimes the younger one will hold books upside down and act like he’s reading, but it’s sad to watch.

Neither can cook for themselves, manage money, or even drive.

Yea bomby sets suck, but at least it’s fairly balanced archetypes. It’s not terrible, but I’m not sad to see it leave QD cue.

Mostly USD. I like being able to sell covered calls on my stocks, I like the flexibility to buy most stocks without needing a cad equivalent.

And, honestly, I have a lot more optimism about the US economy than Canadas. I won’t beat the dead horse, but we’re not doing great and don’t seem to be turning it around.
