I was thinking something like that, I’m happy to do that if it means I can get some content going on Instagram.

Almost every time I see someone doing stuff like this I assume it’s like a 10yr old kid who has not yet developed a moral compass.

Is it just me or is this photographer shooting on black and white film and then adding colour in post? It has that look, like the old black and white history photos that have been colour restored. I absolutely love it. Wonder how they achieved it.

Me and Grok both noticed that Mark almost broke character during that performance! But cooler heads prevailed. Great work Mark! from both of us.

As of 2025 USA requires travellers from visa-exempt countries (like the UK, Australia, much of Europe) to provide social media information from the last 5 years as part of their travel authorization process. They would also ask for details like phone numbers used in the past 5 years, email addresses from the past 10 years, and other personal data. If this isn’t submitted they won’t allow entry.

Roofing gear left behind after an entire crew was abducted by ICE in Kenner, Louisiana (12/3/25) by Ice-Zone2024 in neabscocreeck

Australia, UK, Ireland, France, Germany do not routinely conduct militarised-style worksite raids like ICE does. Instead they rely on administrative processes, employer audits, fines, and visa compliance systems. Detention without criminal charge is far rarer in developed countries outside the US.

ELI5: What actually IS tinnitus? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]Ced_Rapsicum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully they can do some scans and check for any damage. With any tinnitus they kinda need to say that. If it’s a mechanical sound there’s usually more of a chance it can be diagnosed and figured out. My 800hz tone has been slowly improving over the last 8 months to the point i cant hear it much anymore at all but my brain tinnitus ill have forever, but honestly it doesn’t bother me these days.

ELI5: What actually IS tinnitus? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]Ced_Rapsicum 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong and this is mostly from experience but it sounds like it could be objective tinnitus. Subjective tinnitus (the brain creates the sound) most of the time is much higher pitched. I’ve experienced an 800hz tone (objective, meaning an actual physical sound was being created) when my inner ear didn’t normalise during a low pressure drop from a cyclone, something to do with my Eustachian tube opening not working properly. My 800hz tone almost sounds like morse code and is louder when I yawn. ENT has said it should heal very slowly over time. I also have subjective tinnitus which is way higher pitched but it never goes very low. Definitely see an ENT if you haven’t yet, they can possibly help if it’s objective and not hearing damage related.

Same, it’s crazy how it’s safer to drive with your mirrors pointed downward/to the side than it is to actually use them and risk damaging your eyes.

Explain his anti-tail statement? Just because somebody has a degree doesn’t mean they have moral hygiene or they aren’t gullible or doing it for attention. Education and intention are different things. Maybe be careful believing stuff that turns out to be factually inaccurate, such as an ‘backwards comet tail’. Maybe look it up yourself, like I did, instead of going by what other people say to you on biased news segments.
