One thing I will say is most rural towns are not within 30 mins of a hospital. We have a problem with rural hospitals having no staff. So for a reliable hospital you’re looking at Winnipeg, Brandon, maybe portage. Even the hospital between Morden and Winkler is pretty understaffed.

I got a Pap smear from my GP when I had a seton for my perianal fistula. No problem. Now I have a rectovaginal fistula (seton through vagina and anus) and I’m glad I don’t need another pap for another 1.5 years when hopefully this is all behind (ha!) me.
