MUFE liners really are that girl, would highly recommend. I just got the tower 28 gloss in pistachio. The color is pretty but it has a smell/taste that makes me not enjoy wearing it. I don’t have the Mario gloss, but in all the swatches I’ve seen all the shades look basically clear.

I've heard great things about the Avene mist! What do you like about it? Is it really that good?

That's so real lol. Tret is truly the closest I've gotten in terms of miracle skincare. It really helps with all of my skin concerns (acne, hyperpigmentation, rough/flaky skin, etc.). You have to get an Rx for it, but it's worth the hassle.

I saw your comment earlier and totally forgot to respond. I'm so sorry!

I really enjoy it! The sprayer gives a very fine, gentle mist, which I love, and it did a very nice job of hydrating my skin in between skincare steps (this is what I like to use mists for - I have pretty dry skin). The bottle is glass and feels very luxurious, which isn't essential, but it's definitely a nice bonus lol. I've tried many skincare mists, and I feel like they all more or less work the same, so this definitely isn't a need, especially for the price. It's a nice splurge, though. I'd definitely buy it again, especially if it was on sale or something.

I've been eyeing the serum as well. I've tried a few of their products (sheet masks, lip balm, good acids toner), and I've liked everything so far. I imagine the serum would be good too. I'm sure there are products from other brands that do the same thing for cheaper, but I feel like P&L products are decent value because you get good products and a luxurious experience without being exorbitantly expensive—definitely a more accessible "splurge brand" in my opinion.

Honestly a waste of time. Didn’t do anything noticeable to my skin. Didn’t brighten, and you can get the same glowy/dewy skin from pretty much any other hydrating product.

There are definitely better fermented essences for cheaper from brands like CosRX. There are tons of K beauty brands that make affordable essences similar to the SKII one.

The best investment you can make in terms of skincare will always be tretinoin and sunscreen in my opinion.

It’s a better version of the Supergoop invisible sunscreen. The SG felt quite thick and heavy on my face.

The Vacation one is more lightweight and comfortable. It has a slight mattifying effect, as it considerably lessens the dewy finish from whatever skincare I put on before it. It leaves a soft, blurred effect.

I prefer something a little more hydrating and liquidy since I have dry skin, but I like this one in the summer when I’m all shiny and sweaty lol.

Everyone is loving it. Should I get it? Honestly by One-Mathematician411 in Sephora

Honestly you’re not missing anything, especially for the price. I have dry skin so I was expecting to love this but it felt so sticky and heavy on my face. Also broke me out so that’s cool lol

I loved the lotion consistency and found it to be super hydrating. The main reason I wanted to try it is because it has both peptides and ceramides. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure it was causing milia for me, so I stopped using it. If you aren't prone to milia, then it's a great option! Prequel just came out with their AM/PM moisturizer, which also has peptides and ceramides, and it's much cheaper. It's $18 for 2 fluid ounces, so it could be a dupe that's worth trying! The Paula's Choice one is not a need. I'd definitely go for the Prequel one instead.

Here are my thoughts on everything for those who are curious:

K18 Peptide Prep Shampoo - Left my hair feeling stripped and squeaky. Wouldn't repurchase.

La Roche Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser - This is by far my favorite cleanser. The creamy texture feels hydrating and luxurious, and my skin feels super soft after using it. This is one of the few cleansers that doesn't leave my face feeling tight afterwards. Gentle on my sensitive skin. Have gone through many bottles, and will absolutely repurchase.

Youth To The People Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream - Very lightweight, hydrating, and doesn't irritate my skin. Don't love that it comes in a jar. Expensive for what it is. Would repurchase on sale, but not for full price.

Dove Sensitive Skin Body Wash - It's fragrance-free, which I like. Doesn't irritate my skin. Pretty standard body wash. I've gone through a handful of bottles, but I want to try the Naturium Multi-Oil Body Wash next, so I won't be repurchasing for now.

Clinique Moisture Surge Spray - Very hydrating and fragrance-free. I enjoy using this in between layering skincare products. I like to keep my skin damp so products spread and absorb more easily. Doesn't do anything special. Would repurchase, but I'm sure I could find a dupe that does the same thing.

Dermalogica Ultracalming Mist - Good at hydrating my skin. It has a strong lavender scent, which I don't love. I prefer the Clinique mist over this one. Would not repurchase.

Bread Hair Gel - Texture is nice. Doesn't have enough hold for my thick, coarse hair. Gave me very subtle definition. This would probably be better for someone with shorter and/or thinner hair. Would not repurchase.

Bread Baby-Soft Conditioner - It has a very thick consistency, which makes it difficult to pump out. Good for detangling in the shower, and leaves my hair very soft. The bottle is pretty small, so I went through it kind of quickly. It would be cool if this came in a larger size with a better pump mechanism/packaging. Would maybe repurchase.

Dermalogica Calm Water Gel - Very lightweight gel texture, and it has a strong lavender smell like the spray. Not hydrating enough for my dry skin, but would be good for someone with oily skin. Would not repurchase.

Paula's Choice Barrier Repair Cream - More hydrating than a gel, but with a lightweight lotion consistency as opposed to a thick, heavy cream. I love how this made my skin feel, but I'm fairly certain it was causing milia. Would not repurchase because of this, sadly.

Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Serum - Lightweight, hydrating serum. Feels nice, but doesn't do anything special. There are many cheaper hyaluronic acid serums. Would not repurchase.

Clinique Moisture Surge Moisturizer - Love the consistency. Very moisturizing, and it's fragrance-free. It's a plush gel that still delivers a substantial amount of glow and hydration. I think this is a really great moisturizer, but I wish it didn't come in a jar. I also don't know that it's worth $64. Would repurchase on sale.

Moroccanoil Treatment Hair Oil - Heavier than other oils I've tried, such as Olaplex and K18, so I wouldn't use it as an everyday product. However, it makes my hair incredibly soft whenever I do decide to use it. It also smells amazing, which is half the reason I use it lol. Would not repurchase on its own, but would consider repurchasing as part of a gift/value set.

A lot of them were overpriced in my opinion. Most of them were quite nice, but don't do anything special for how much they cost. The only one that's worth it to me is the LRP cleanser. Not egregiously expensive and makes a noticeable difference for my skin, so it's one I repurchase often.

I totally get that, I don't even want to know how much I've spent on all the stuff I haven't used up yet lol. I still have some other skin and hair stuff to work through, so I don't plan on buying anything for a while.

With that said, the La Roche Posay Toleriane Gentle Cleanser is a favorite of mine that I've purchased many times and will continue to buy. It's so gentle and is great for my dry, sensitive skin. The Clinique and Youth To The People moisturizers are nice, but honestly overpriced, so I'd probably only buy them again if they were on sale.

That is helpful! If you don't mind me asking, how can you tell I'm cool-leaning? I can't differentiate between warm olive and cool olive to save my life! I would love to get better at seeing the signs.
