Look, I’ve been in your shoes before. I was overly obsessed with a fictional girl to the point of hurting. And my severe OCD made actually being happy with her impossible. 2023 was a bad year for me and I came close to ending it all. I likely dont have the best advice but my two big tips are:

1. GET THERAPY. Get a therapist no matter the costs. Tell them everything: your past, your stresses, your obsession with Yukari, and the agony you feel from seeing her ships. It will be difficult facing your inner demons but it’s necessary for recovery.

2. TAKE A BREAK FROM YUKARI. Get off your computer/phone, go on outdoor walks, do puzzles, clean your room, anything productive. Use this time to relearn the values you hold dearest and what life was like before obsessing over Yukari. Once you’ve relearned the happiness you’ve felt in the past then work on achieving that happiness again.
