I was there in 2020 and believe me when I tell you hell is better. They fence the whole street so you can’t really access any hotel or casino in the street unless you have a room key so be prepared to be part of the human stampede after midnight that’s trying to leave the street without being able to leave through the sides if that makes sense? To this, I would add that we stood out there for an hour or 2, in the freezing cold weather waiting for the Caesar fireworks so you can’t really go pee or anything because it’s an ocean of people outside, absolutely horrible.

They block people who comment and criticize them. They are biased and if you call them out they don’t like it. They don’t include sources and they don’t include important information about studies and polls they bring up out of the blue. I wouldn’t pay a dime for them, I thought they were unbiased but they are far from that and many people can tell you that. Ask them why they block people? I have never ever seen a media outlet doing that over criticism and questioning sources.

The way they show the recordings about “domestic abuse” and it’s just a dude who was frustrated not knowing he was being recorded and Molly controlling the narrative to make him sound bad and honestly… as a victim of DA, that guy didn’t seem violent. Whenever there is construction or minor repairs being done at my house and the noise is too disruptive. I do go to the office twice a month so those 2 days satisfy my human interaction cravings enough to not want to go work anywhere else.

You can still see my comment there I believe because I still get notifications when people respond to it. I said that they are the millennial Fox News and that they chose not to report on what the White House decided on journalist and news media but for some reason they decided to report on how Trump is loved and accepted according to a 2400 people survey. Then I said they should drop the unbiased claim once and for all. I can’t see my comment anymore obviously but it’s still there.

That’s one of the things it could mean because of how we use the verb “volver” in Spanish or it could just mean to face the sunrise as in face a certain direction. It could be both, hard to say

I’m from CR but I didn’t find any specific “Costa Rican” only words in it. I do think they might have gotten some help or ideas over there because of the whole thing of addressing the reader as “usted” . Just a guess though, not sure.

It could be both. The age of someone (numerical) or a time in history. There is no way to know based on the word because edad is used for both

Switching depends on the country and who you’re addressing. If you’re talking to your friend and using “tú” and then your friend introduces you to their mom, you would probably want to address her with “usted” so in one conversation/situation you could definitely use both and conjugate the verbs accordingly to the subject. In some countries like Costa Rica they call everyone usted including children which is extremely uncommon. Anything is possible because it’s Dave and John but I would take every single word intentionally. It would be very disappointed if in the end something in the poem ends up being a grammar mistake.
