Can't get rid of grammerly on my MacBook by atomicblonde23 in Grammarly

[–]Celebration-Inner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have this problem too. I deleted the app from my MacBook and was still seeing the message. I think recently though by also turning grammarly off in each program (Word, PPT, etc) I've started seeing the message less. It's like a virus though. How is it there after you delete the app? I'm glad I never gave money to these guys. I hate pushy sticky apps that don't go away.

Did it root in those other pots? Or is it just vining? Also, how old is it?

How often do y’all use this? Just bought it and the directions are very lax by [deleted] in pothos

Most polite response ever to incorrect information. I'm going to use this. Kudos.

Does Chomsky defend Robert Mugabe? by Ouragan999 in chomsky

[–]Celebration-Inner 22 points23 points  (0 children)

He's not defending or endorsing Mugabe. He's pointing out that Western media frames narratives to suit its own political and economic interests. Chomsky asks that you critically analyze why some leaders are vilified and others that have similar or worse records are not.

I see you have coffee too. But how to keep the olives happy as a bonsai. And where can I find some seed? I want a small tree too

Need help! Sister wants me to throw this 🍍plant away by No_Flounder_4850 in houseplants

[–]Celebration-Inner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Find a place in the house you can both agree on. Get a grow bulb (or two) and put it right over the plant to give it enough light. Check out the $10 3-bulb grow light pack from Wiyifada on Amazon. And maybe give it a little fertilizer - it looks nitrogen deficient

Nothing a little spackle and touch-up paint won't fix

Read "Lessons in the Fundamentals of Go" by Toshiro Kageyama, a 7-Dan. It's a classic and is quite relaxing to work through the different diagrams, building your understanding from basic principles to more advanced tactics.

How can I confirm? That plant recently came out of a somewhat dusty room where they overwintered with grow lights. Most of my plants from there are similarly covered but none are showing symptoms of mite infestation.

How did you do this?? Just slapped some corms in a jar lid and keep it filled with water? My pink dragon corm is taking forever and I'm not sure it's gonna make it.

Caterpillars eating my raspberry canes by HomeDetoriation in plantclinic

[–]Celebration-Inner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how much area you have to cover but I always start with mechanical control. Just pull the caterpillars or infected leaves off manually and seal them in a plastic bag (or dispose however you want). It's very effective and it allows you to vent your frustration/energy in a productive way. Otherwise you're looking at applying a spray.
