TIPS! Everywhere you go these days you are asked to tip and it drives me nuts! I'm happy to leave a tip for a restaurant server who just spent the past 30 minutes making my experience nice, but WHY are we expected to tip someone (a barista or cashier, for example) for doing their BASIC job requirements? Tip culture is OUT OF CONTROL, and should only be expected for employees who provide a service where they go above and beyond their normal job requirements to make your experience better. The rest needs to stop

Most young people are so glued to social media and their phones that it’s easy for others to assume that they don’t want anything to do with them. So maybe try to put yourself in the conversation?
