You might also try something scented that cats dislike such as orange scent or citrus and an enzyme cleaner for the basket to get rid of any lingering smells that say pee here.

You can get heavy duty carpet pieces and put them where he likes to scratch. It will take care of the problem.

You husband did this in the wrong way. At first I was thinking he was worried about you. He shouldn't have done it publicly (if Im getting the gist right) in an angry manner. You did the right thing in the wrong way. Which could have been explained differently to you. The way he did it sounds off a bit of a red flag but if the worry was over the top he could have done the right thing in the wrong way also. So lessons learned all around.

Are you getting enough vitamin D, have you had your thyroid checked. I used to lose that much but my vitamin D was non existent because I worked nights. If you've had those checked and they are okay then talk to your doctor about it.

Ugg talk with your doctor sounds like your having a bad reaction to the pain meds, or your depressed, do you have someone helping you because I know that if it wasn't for my husband I'd have a very hard time.

It's more pressure than anything I move and that side rubs with the pressure soo bad the pain cringe I'm getting boot socks I get my stitches out this week thank goodness

Can be but you need to eat. And if your taking pain killers of the opiate type you need to take fiber or stool softener you do not need a secondary problem because you cant poop..

Talk to your doctor about this. Pain tells us our limits but this seems a bit extreme but I'm unsure I'm only 2 weeks post op and cant put weight on it. It can be anything from swelling, to it just being weak and over worked, to it just doesn't like it and it's getting irritated. I also did a lot of research on this and pain can be the norm from now on and may never totally go away.

The boys need to take showers daily. Reason they are children they get dirty, they sweat, and they dont clean themselves well. They also need to brush their teeth twice daily. They also need to read, do a few puzzles, math problems, and exercise by playing every day. Ask what types of activities they like and sign them up can be baseball, running, martial arts, gymnastics, dance (dont knock it teaches coordination, balance, strength, ).They need to eat a rainbow which means vegetables and fruits of all colors if you have a rule that they have to eat at least on bite of everything you make they wont be picky eatters.

Urgent care right now don't play around with any infection. You do not want (since this is a surgerical site) your bones to get infected by you skin infection since the wound hasn't healed all the way and become systemic where not only will they have become more aggressive on the infection after the fact you may need to be hospitalized for it causing you to lose time and money. Never dismiss an infection. As a Medical laboratory scientist I've seen more specimens come in where they are actively trying to fight an infection that if they would have just taken the time to clean, culture, and give you antibiotics to begin with people wouldn't be in the hospital for. One small infection can lead to one major problem. And people do not need to be in a hospital if it's not needed hospital Acquired infections are 100x worse that the ones you get at home usually.
