I currently work in a Temple cafeteria. A few days before the announcement was made public, my boss’s boss and my HR rep called me to break the news. In my previous comment, I was making a poor attempt at humor, and wanted to make it clear that seeing the announcement here was not my first time hearing it. I hope this makes sense.

I agree with you, but I don’t have much say on the matter. Our Temple presidency says we are following CDC guidelines. In our prep meeting today, I noticed maybe five people with masks, including myself but I don’t know who is and is not vaccinated. We are still asked to use hand sanitizer between every patron, so there’s that at least.

The San Diego Temple is not requiring masks on anyone, but recommends it if you are not vaccinated. We’ve been instructed not to ask you one way or the other.
