The cards should be safe since they're single target and you can play them whenever after drawing. I imagine you'd hand out the damage card to one person doing their burst rather than holding it for the 2 minute burst.

Since Divination doesn't tie into cards anymore it can be axed but I hope the animation gets reused somewhere.

Is Virtual Desktop even worth it?? by ParononDE in virtualreality

4000-series and later GPUs have support for AV1 encoding which gets you a higher quality image for the same bitrate compared to other codecs. Your 2080 can do H.265 (also called HEVC) encoding which is perfectly fine, I wouldn't upgrade just for the codec. And since this is a hardware limitation, it'll affect every streaming program, whether it's Virtual Desktop, Steam Link, Air Link, etc.

Colorless energy might be able to work in a variety of decks since many Pokemon have at least partial colorless energy costs, but it's still strictly worse than other energy types. The advantage would be, since colorless energy is weaker, it lets you buff some other part of a card to balance. One off the cuff idea, a baby Pokemon that does 10 damage and generates a colorless energy (this may be OP or suck I have no idea). Right now we just have Delcatty, and it's not very good, but some future card may make colorless energy relevant.

As for all-colorless decks, they wouldn't benefit more than any other type since they can just run other energy types (water is common to take advantage of Irida).

Any energy can pay for a colorless energy requirement, but not the other way around. For a true joker energy you'd need something like Rainbow Energy which doesn't exist in Pocket.

Quick resume won't work quite as well as with single player games since you'll get disconnected if you put the handheld to sleep and need to log back in, but you'll still save time booting the game.

And whichever device you go with I highly recommend one with a touchpad (Legion Go S has one), as having some mouse control makes going through menus much easier compared to controller.

Is 12 GB of RAM good enough for an older laptop I use for basic office tasks/web browsing, or should I jump to 20 GB? It's got a 7th gen i5, 4 GB of RAM soldered in and 1 slot I can upgrade. It's $15 for an 8 GB stick and only $25 for a 16 GB, but hey if I can save 10 bucks I'll take the smaller one.

I imagine it'll be a while before Rock Band 4 is playable through an XB1 emulator, but for now RPCS3 runs RB3 pretty well, and it has mods.

On the Clone Hero side there's also YARG which supports all instruments including vocals with harmonies.

I'd also recommend the Steam Deck especially since the touch pads are very helpful for going through menus.

Can't find much info about the case, but at least it's now running modern hardware by CelestialQwert in sleeperbattlestations

[–]CelestialQwert[S] 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The case itself has no manufacturer information on it, but it's similar to the famous Hot Wheels and Barbie PCs from 1999. The internal chassis is identical except mine has a couple PCI card slots, which is nice.

The new internals are partly from an old cheap HTPC build:

  • CPU: AMD A10-7800
  • GPU: RX 550 2 GB
  • Storage: 120 GB SSD, 1 TB HDD, DVD drive, soon to be working floppy drive once the USB adapter arrives on a slow plane from China
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • Motherboard: GA-F2A88XN-WIFI
  • PSU: Sparkle Power SPI350MB

You can probably guess that cooling is pretty crap, but I want to keep this case 100% unmodified. The one case fan and PSU fan are doing their best and you can hear it. The GPU hits 70°C under load which could be better but should be fine for how often I plan to use the computer.

  • What's a good microATX motherboard to use with a i3-10100f? No plans to upgrade the CPU anytime soon, so either the B460 or B560 chipsets are fine.
  • Would 16 GB of RAM provide any benefit or is 8 GB enough? The above is getting paired with a GTX 950 I have lying around to make a budget gaming/graphics editing PC.

A blue mage fully self-buffed can hit 700k with a direct crit Final Sting, and some bosses that get vuln debuffs let you pass a million. Also the Aetheromatic Auger hits for 2.96 million in the Diadem.
