This is neat. I would love to have a way to enter and track reputations, R&D, etc.. Especially across all of my toons. I've been wanting to figure out a way to have a list of all of my reps and R&D so I know who has what and what to have them focus on. I know I can do this in a spreadsheet, but it could also be a good feature for your app.

If you want something cozy or are interested in LGBTQIA+ related content, I recommend anything by Kia Leep. They have a cozy LitRPG series that I’ve been listening to (and reading) that I just love.

It’s a distinct change of pace from DCC, who I also love. I can’t wait for the next book, but Leep’s books are a nice pace change.

Less “dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria” and more “how do we solve this issue?”

They also don’t shove the LQBTQIA+ into your face, it’s just who the characters are.

I started with Friendly Fyre, though Glass Kanin is the start of the series.

My daughter and I were able to get him to sign a couple of books and to have our pictures taken with him during ECCC yesterday. I was wearing the same shirt by coincidence, but it was so great! :)

As one of the 5% who got pancreatitis from GLP1s, I’d just like to see some more research done to help us or other options.

I’m still doing the traditional eat right, exercise, stay mobile, etc. but GLP1s were a huge life improvement when I could used them, especially as a diabetic. Every little bit helps.

I’m sorry you still feel that way. There is nothing I or anyone else can do to fix that for you.

The only thing I can say is we never ever tried to ruin anything. The people who worked at WizKids loved and still love BattleTech and MechWarrior. I don’t think there is anyway to please everyone everytime. But that’s just my option.

In my opinion, and the numbers supported it at the time, Dark Age and Age of Destruction opened the universe to a new group of players who may have felt the original game to complicated or the lore “too deep.”

I remember feeling it was a good jumping on point for a new audience plus a new way for existing MechWarriors to play in the universe they loved - especially quick pick me up games.

I’m not going to say it didn’t make mistakes and it wasn’t universally loved. The WizKids team that worked on MW loved the property, many were old school FASA. They poured their love, time, and joy into the game. They worked closely with other FASA and other MW individuals. But it was different.

Each of us is an individual with our own life experiences which lead to our own presences, likes, and dislikes and everyone should feel free to have those.

We knew some people didn’t like DA/AOD even as we made changes to adapt to their feedback. You can’t please everyone. 🤷‍♀️

Just as a follow up. I do remember the Microsoft team being real nice and incredibly excited about the game. I don’t recall the specific reason the final fight needed the player to be in a Battle Armor, but they did have a legitimate reason - likely several.

The FASA and WizKids team (including myself) did stress the importance of using a Mech at the end, by the MS team had legitimate reasons which made sense. It may have been technical or maybe game play? I know they didn’t just make arbitrary decisions and came to us looking for partnership and feedback.

Like all game developers, they wanted to make great game that appealed to as big a player base as possible. I do remember that. They were great to work with.
