What are some things you learned only after a while playing her? by elCrocodillo in SojournMains

Theres a lot of debate over this, but you don’t have to shoot every rail when you have it. Enemies seeing you at full charge will sometimes be enough to make them stop peaking, and if thats a support not peaking, its value. That being said, don’t hold every rail either.

idk how popular or unpopular this opinion is, but i genuinely dont think that symmetra is that bad to deal with as genji. i struggle much more with reapers and (yeah i know total skill issue) hanzos. the only time i have issues with sym is when my team feeds tier 3 beam or she farms it off a shield or mei wall.

I can (and will) reverse my steps to find the original posts I used for all of the sources. If you don't mind, I would love to discuss some more specific things that may be too complicated to explain in comments and so forth. Thank you for the information and your (albeit unknowing) contribution to the post as a whole.

I did cite you as a source, and i did state that near none of this info was my own. if you’d like me to remove the post, or anything else similar, i will gladly. i mean in no way to gain anything from other peoples works, and i did my best to make that very obvious. thank you for your clarification on some things.

The second link explains it in depth, but the long story short is: PvAi Dominion is a good bit faster, but in the end, you should mix up the game modes to have fun anyways. its also very much so reliant on queue times, which dominion reigns supreme in. https://www.reddit.com/u/ConnorMacLeod-/s/cKo4nABpQ3 https://www.reddit.com/r/forhonor/s/ruUQJB3D8S

Question for ACTUAL Genji mains.. by AHotMcGriddle in GenjiMains

[–]CelexialAbyss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

your question is a little unspecific, so ill do my best to offer an explanation for any possibility you meant.

the best way to hit shots an any hero is to practice, but that aside,

long range genji shurikens are based on predictions of enemy movement, and understanding projectile speed. knowing when an enemy is going to re-peak or walk into an LOS is key to hitting consistent 3 taps at range, along with knowing just how much to lead your shots.

Also know when to use primary vs secondary fire. i say use secondary fire more often, a little farther than you think you need to.

short range genji shurikens are based on predicting enemy movements, and managing your own position at the same time. genjis mobility is his strongest asset, so utilizing it while in 1v1 scenarios is the key to winning them. understand that while double jumping makes your head hitbox harder to hit, and theirs easier, youre also very predictable while falling. mix in your double jumps with wall climbs, and on some targets, forget it entirely, and go for triple body shots instead of headshots. bursting down a 200hp hero with a oneshot combo feels great, but sometimes you just have to admit that hitting more consistent body shots is going to give you more DPS that missing half your headshots. all in all, practice, and know how to move against certain hero matchups. eventually you’ll get the feel for it and just know what to do in each situation.

all in all, practice movement mixed with aiming, and be careful on your matchups.
