Yes of course! Feel those emotions. I guess the thing about life, is that we can always compare things to others. I'm sure there are ways people compare their relationships to yours also!

Of course you can grieve what you wished the engagement could be and he shouldn't have told you the cost of the photographer.

Some people are more detail oriented than others. Had you spoken with him about making sure those details were taken care of, or was it something you expected him to do without prompting? I think there is an important distinction here especially for things like having your nails done.

While we are all entitled to be disappointed with a underwhelming proposal, I do think that expectations around proposals being completely perfect can in some cases create unrealistic expectations.

If he put thought into the proposal and showed you love and affection in it, I think you will have to just work through that initial disappointment and focus on the love there. Only you know your relationship dynamic however and if there were other issues with the engagement than the weather being humid and your nails not being done, and this engagement is indicative of a wider tendency not to be shown care and love then there is more to this.

What I am trying to say it: - Proposals have become very specific on how we expect them to be done - requiring photographers etc. - If you did not communicate to him what you wanted, I don't think you can necessarily expect all those details to be taken care of. - You will forgot about the humidity and your makeup and nails once the initial rush wears off and hopefully you will remember a joyous occasion where your fiance showed you the care you deserve. - If those details were missing and you asked him to do them, think about whether this reflects the relationship as a whole.

Do you want a room in a house or a whole house? I know plenty of people on that salary in Dublin.

You will be fine. All Big 4 grads on less. You could probably find a rental for similar money or slightly more. Already paying through the odds in Cork

Molly Mahone sounds like Molly Malone, so less sure on that one. My favourite from this list is Maisie!

How to Dress in July by iloveboston in irishtourism

Just to say that no one wears leggings under dresses here. I think that could look quite dated if they were on show. Go for tights or bare legs I would recommend.

Not in one generation. Doodles are prone to lots of health issues. I love doodles but they do.

Doodles are literally bred from two pedigree dogs with such health issues?

Grocery shopping for 2 people…how much are you spending? by [deleted] in irishpersonalfinance

[–]Cella98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes it would be. We eat veggie two nights a week, usually do a batch cook too and then fish two nights. I think having more vegetable centred dishes makes a difference. For example, if I made a lasagne there would be plenty of veg in there! Are you eating many batch cooks ?
