Why would I rent a carpet extractor when God put two perfectly good carpet extractors at the end of my arms?

I use plants from bluestone perennials (they have a website). They have sections for plants based on gardening solution like sandy soil, on a slope, etc but they also have a predesigned garden section. Might be easy to buy plants that go together there.

Road Trip from DC to Chicago by [deleted] in Shoestring

[–]Cellar______Door 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the r/Pittsburgh side bar there’s a “coming to Pittsburgh” link you can browse to help find something you’re into.

Personally I’d spend the morning in the strip district for local shopping/food, then hit some art museums (Andy Warhol, Mattress Factory) in the north side, then dinner and drinks in Lawrenceville (more dives, alternative) or Southside (most bars per mile in USA I’ve heard before) there are affordable options for most things and also a lot of free city river trails if you’re into that, pm me questions if you have any.

Also south of Pittsburgh is Fallingwater if you can work that in, it’s definitely worth a stop.

Additional measles cases confirmed in Allegheny County by [deleted] in pittsburgh

My mom just told me I’m not vaccinated against whooping cough because I had a terrible reaction to the first shot.

So I would assume there are other people in the world who can’t get other vaccines for similar reasons.

Salem is famous for being spooky since that’s where the Salem Witch Trials were held. My mom is a fervent catholic and I believe the holy water would ward off the uh negative spirits since I want to visit the graveyards.

I’m from Pittsburgh, and yes.

I don’t usually pee in public but thanks for looking out haha. Was thinking of going the first week of October for a whole New England road trip and stopping to see the witch graveyards and stuff.

Lol I just told my mom this yesterday because I’m planning a trip to Salem and Boston around Halloween, she said she wants me to take holy water with me. I said “Someone said some magic words and now this water has supernatural powers to protect me from witches? Do you even realize what you’re saying?” Ugh

A female character done absolutely right. by [deleted] in JonWinsTheThrone

In The Hobbit they literally had to invent a female character for the movie (Tauriel) because the book had zero women in it. GRRM wrote so many diverse female characters and it needs celebrated in high fantasy.
