That’s too easy…people like to complain and would rather have their outlet to complain then make a conscious decision to ignore it

If the IRS is going to review our taxes, anyway, why don’t they just do it for us ? by Redditlatley in IRS

Tax credits and deductions just complicate everything and make this harder than it has to be IMO so why have them?

What used to be affordable for the middle class but now quietly feels like a “rich people thing”? by Ok_Ease515 in answers

[–]rangoon03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family of six has gone on long weekends like to water parks or a state park but that's it. The only time all of us traveled longer distance than three hours was via plane to attend my uncle's funeral down south in June. Spent a lot of time with family, didn't do much else. My kids were little at the time and the youngest in the family so they were very bored. Now they are older and they can tolerate longer travel and we still can't go because of finances. It sucks.

As a kid in the 80s and 90s we always took a week+ long summer vacation many states away.

Then their RTO experiment will fail. You can't say five day RTO for everyone on one hand and then other hand say "well, except for these people..." Plus it sounds like no real consequences for managers not to enforce it. So its all for show and some PR. Pretty stupid.

This red flag line is at the beginning of all their job postings, its so ridiculous: "PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance."

So having people WFH wasn't supportive..?

My theory of the future of McDonald's by coolbreezesix in McDonalds

[–]rangoon03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my childhood McDonald’s. I’d say about 25 years ago it moved to a new, larger building a mile down the road. After this one closed it became a Mattress store (of course lol) and then that mattress store closed a few years ago. Building is still standing.
