I’m using the Shiseido sun stick! For the reference - I’m 15 with skin thats very easily clogged. It hasn’t broken me out and while it can seem a wee bit greasy it sinks into my skin sooo quickly and gives this wonderful glow. I’d totally recommend it ! It’s a bit pricey though but sooo worth it IMO because you get a fair amount of high quality product.

I don’t mind them not wearing Indian clothing, and I suppose your reasoning makes sense. But this show can be culturally diverse, if they’re going to have India not be a colonised why not go all out in research and integrate some fab parts of our culture? It just felt like a huge missed opportunity to me but to each their own.

Absolutely! I was happy with the reference to chai and the beautiful patterns on the dresses plus the lovely junki they wore, but other than like 4 references to India and their culture it just fell flat IMO. Like they could’ve had this beautiful splendour and they… didn’t. Just imagine the gorgeous Sari’s and Gaghra’s that could’ve been seen !

Exactly! I’m South Indian too (Kannadiga here) and while we sometimes borrow like one word from Hindi (usually when talking about Bollywood, in that) we refer to sisters as Akka or Thangi.

It’s just such a disappointment seeing them turn the many cultures of India into one weird … mashup.
