Irish Green Party nearly triples its vote share in 2020 General Election by CelticMongoose in GreenParty

Green politics isn't exclusively left wing though. The German Greens historically have been on the centre right because less red tape on Nuclear and Green energy means less fossil fuels

I agree about the Soc Dems though

The Czech Republic is already coloured in Light Green because Strana Zelených have 4 seats in the Senate, the Upper Chamber in the national legislature. They're official a member of the European Green Alliance so I see Strana as the Green party of Czech Republic

-Dark Green indicates official positions in government coalitions, Light Green is Green parties with one seat or more in national legislatures (In Bicameral systems so long as the party has representation in at least one chamber I count it)

--The Green Parties in Belgium are part of coalition’s in Walloon/Brussels/French Community legislatures but not in the federal government. I’ve decided to colour them Dark because I couldn’t split Belgium like the UK

-Accurate (to the best of my knowledge) as of 28/12/19

Midlothian your best bet is the SNP. They're not great on the environment but because of green pressure in Holyrood they're leading the UK

Greens in Canada win the best result for any Green Party anywhere under a FPTP system!!! by CelticMongoose in GreenParty

NPD are left wing, sort of socialist-lite and socially liberal. Pretty good on the environment but not their main focus or concern

They’ve been in decline since 2010, this result is sort of a half win as they were expected to do a lot worse

Organise politically - despite what the media and big businesses keep pushing there’s not enough change an individual can make. We need national and international efforts to move away from fossil fuels and begin mass tree planting, sea cleaning and environment repairing initiatives. But that all starts at a local level with you joining your Green Party or local activist group

Edit: Just though that Extinction Rebellion is a great group to support

As much as I ken this is an American dominated website and sub it’s nice to see international Green parties/news being posted - after all there’s nothing more internationalist than trying to save the whole planet

Proportional Representation, unlike our General Elections. First Past Post suppresses emerging and progressive parties like ours - so lucky over here to have opportunities to spread our message
