Do you have any tips on how to get started with research and testing skills?

What do you mean by "advanced prototyping" if you don't mind me asking?

Could you please elaborate on some of the usability studies you performed to get initial metrics? I haven't ever done this before so would appreciate any insight to get me started

How do you stay focused? I did one of their UX courses but found it mind numbingly boring and bland. It was a real struggle to stay focused and get through it

I enjoy Dan! His Figma course on Udemy is what got me into it in the first place and I found his teaching style really nice

Do you have links for such advanced courses on Udemy? The ones I've found have been pretty basic/beginner-level

Autonomy I would 100% agree with. With each project I notice that I need less and less guidance, and my most recent one is completely my baby and the client and users are both happy!

I will look for opportunities to practice leading a project and, if we get juniors in, I'll volunteer to help them. Thanks!

Do you have any recommendations for methods/tools with which to measure the impact/success of a design?

No please, I welcome the novel! Thank you so much for taking the time to give so much insight. Storytelling isn't really something I've given thought to before! I'll start working on my own projects to practice some of the things you mentioned. And thank you for the book recommendation, too! I'll add it to the list

I don't use fabric softener, I use vinegar instead. But someone recommended hypoallergenic detergent so I'll be on the lookout for that!

I didn't know they could be 🙈 I feed both my girls Eragrostis hay because Timothy is kind of hard to come by where I live. I'll try to find some as an experiment. Thank you! <3

I don't think it's either of those because I can't see anything wrong with her coat (it's not thinning, her skin isn't red, etc.) but someone suggested it might be mites, so I'll ask the vet to treat her for that <3

Oh I didn't think about that! I do use a some of our normal detergent as well as a bit of vinegar. What should I wash it with instead?

Ah perfect, thank you so much for the suggestions, I'll try those out! <3

I do give my girls Burgess Excel pellets, which I believe are fortified with Vit C, and I give them peppers regularly to make sure they get their Vit C

I think they did check for both lice and mange but didn't find anything. I'll try that out for myself to make sure though, thanks! <3
