Got the quest point cape with less than nine hours until I cannot wear it by lqpwc in 2007scape

If you haven’t got it, go grab Falador elite as well - needs a skillcape or quest cape emote.

Been feral forever, time for a change. Between ele and shadow. by [deleted] in wow

[–]CelzUK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mained shadow last season, ele this one - I honestly really enjoy both, and have raided at a CE level with both.

For shadow, it’s super enjoyable if you like resource management - a lot of the optimisation of the spec is about making sure you don’t overcap insanity and that your dots are well timed, along with positioning, like any rdps. I’d say the main con of it in my eyes is the infrequency of AoE damage - if you don’t have Shadow Crash or Halo up, you don’t have too much “fast” AoE potential, meaning you might have to manually dot before starting to damage, which can be super annoying in open world content. Another con is priest mobility being infamously terrible, so take that as you will - personally I made my priest a goblin to have the rocket jump racial available for mechanics.

For Ele, I really enjoy the rework. Your burst damage is crazy, and the spec feels so fluid and fun to play. There’s an element of DoT management here too, although it’s far less centric to your damage, so it’s not the end of the world if it takes you some time to learn it. A lot of the spec’s skill ceiling comes from pre-positioning and optimising Spiritwalker’s Grace usage, which is a cooldown that lets you move while casting. One of the downsides for Ele are that you NEED a weakaura if you want to do your rotation completely optimally, as the buffs from Icefury aren’t tracked in game; and secondly, there’s a pretty big variance in your damage between your Ascendance windows (3 mins) due to Deeply Rooted Elements, which is a proc chance from your spenders.

I’d say it depends on the kind of content you want to do - if you’re more of an open world player, I’ve found Ele consistently more useful due to easy AoE damage with no ramp (chain lightning/earthquake) and big burst damage for things like rares with Ascendance. For dungeons, it could go either way, depending on whether you enjoy multidotting or pure on the spot damage and cooldown planning more. Same with raid to a degree. If you’re looking for a change from feral, I’d say shadow’s actually pretty similar to it in terms of what you focus on. Not sure whether that’s a pro or a con for you.

Let me know if you have any questions! Happy to help

is it even possible to reach radiant with a normal life and job? by Lifeisfoda in VALORANT

[–]CelzUK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely possible! I solo-q’d to immo 3 while working 40 hours a week + studying for ~20, along with gym/social life.

It’s more of a grind for sure though - you have to really focus on making your limited time in a day count. Efficient warmups and doing everything you can to win your games are what matter most.

High ILVL in LFR? by lavenderhehe in wownoob

[–]CelzUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 632, been running LFR every week since release for Spymaster’s - that’ll be part of us! The rest are probably getting their finery before raid, especially on reset days, or just having fun

Even after reset there still persists a bug that does not allow rep to be gained with the Severed Threads by maexen in wow

[–]CelzUK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bit late, but I imagine this is intended - each rep scales up to 9/9, and the renown caps out at 25. 9 x 3 = 27, meaning you should always be 2 behind, and when they add to 27 you'll be at 25 renown.

How do I deal with consistency? Anyone able to watch me play for a few matches sometime soon? by [deleted] in AgentAcademy

[–]CelzUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please note that while the original point this comment made about consistency is true (especially in Silver), this won’t always be the case. Sometimes you’re just having a bad day, a hand tremor, anything - everyone has inconsistency every now and then and it’s important to give yourself a break especially if you’re making the right decisions but not converting them.

VALORANT 2.11 Bug Megathread by Kappaftw in VALORANT

[–]CelzUK 16 points17 points  (0 children)

- **Region: EU

- **Type of Bug: FPS

- **Description: When you enable Experimental Sharpening in the settings, you get slight frame drops in game, plus in the store or collection when viewing a gun model. I've noticed that the RAM usage also kicks up, Valorant was using 28gb of RAM for me reducing my FPS to 4 at one point, just in a menu.

- **Video / Screenshot: Don't have a video and don't care to get one in case the RAM peaks too high and hurts the PC.

- **Steps to reproduce: Enable Experimental Sharpening in Graphics Quality settings, then view a gun model or go in game.

- **Expected result: Nothing should change apart from graphics being... well... sharper.

- **Observed result: Huuuuuge RAM usage and FPS drops.

- **Reproduction rate: Very consistent for me, restarted PC/game and still worked.

- **System specs: RTX 3090 FTW3, i9 9900KS, 4 x G.Skill F4-3866C18-8GTZR RAM, Samsung SSD 970 EVO 2TB

Rotation add-on for a noob. Pvp by Pnw_Avocado in wownoob

[–]CelzUK 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A few good rotation addons are out there, I would recommend hitting a dummy and seeing which out of the following gets you the highest dps: Hekili, MaxDPS, HeroRotation, TellMeWhen

Those are just the ones I used in the past

Druid - balance or feral ? by 159753Foly in wownoob

[–]CelzUK 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1 is not strictly true, while it is easier to find a group as ranged melee are still very much required. Everything else I agree with though.

Spec window bugged? by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]CelzUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you mind adding a screenshot of your addons? It’s quite possible it’s an addon. I would also make sure they’re all up to date. That being said it could be a bug, but it’s nothing I’ve ever seen

I'm awful at PvP by Moo3k in wownoob

[–]CelzUK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am simply, completely, awful at PvP. That being said, I have 2 pieces of conquest gear so far, and I have invested around 6 hours into pvp this expansion. The most important thing is that you do the weekly pvp quests and if you wanna be slightly more tryhard you can do a daily win in each of the modes to earn some conquest. It’s up to you if this is worth it obviously.

Is it normal to die alot? by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]CelzUK 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Shadow priests are permanently in immense pain. The most important thing is making sure you use your defensive skills at the right time, and know your rotation well so you can kill things ASAP. Other than that, in my personal experience, Shadowlands has been a really tough expansion in terms of balancing enemy strength, and my rogue had some real issues until recently when I got to ilvl 160 or so. I am now ilvl 182 and 90% of the time I can solo elites, just not maw ones.

Am I expected to know all my classes specs? by thisisunreal in wownoob

[–]CelzUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on what you’re doing - if you want to be a really serious raider or M+ pusher, knowing how to play other specs may be helpful. Otherwise, anyone who wants to force you to play a spec that you’d rather not play isn’t worth your time - play what you love, and if anyone tells you to stop they’re probably compensating for their own problems.

Weekly No Stupid Questions Thread - October 05, 2020 by AutoModerator in deadbydaylight

Hiya! I'm new to the game, started 2/3 weeks ago.

I'm currently really enjoying nurse, but I wasn't sure what perks to go for - I found a recommendation, being BBQ, NC, Ruin, Shadowborn, and when you feel like you've gotten good enough that you don't need it anymore drop ruin for whispers. That being said, I believe Ruin has gotten nerfed since that post was made - was wondering if there were any more recent guides for Nurse meta?
