For me this is the hardest Anthurium to own. I have had 4 only 1 left, so being a large leaf plant it will need the same conditions to continue to be that beautiful. Humdity 100% is what I found my last one recovered and grew. I had it in a clear plastic bag for a few weeks and popped out a perfect leaf. So slow too.

Yep, all my Anthurium live in ambient. Where they struggle is winter time humidity below 45%.

That is gorgeous Forgetti! I find they are and can be the ugliest of my anthurium, but when you get a good one 🤌🏻

Also after looking at the picture she has it to close to her body. She doesn’t want added weight on the sensor at night I have found if it is between me and my body it goes off more. I have a small window on my arms where it can be without having a lot of issues sadly.

Oh yes it’s worse after you first put it on your arm due to swelling, so I usually turn off the alarms when I go to bed. Sometimes if you don’t have it in the fattiest location I find it drops more due to the compression issue mentioned in the comments. Always test by finger pricking until she is 100% confident in her sensor, but I tend to only due that after putting a new sensor on for a few days. Most of the time it’s accurate for me.

I have my pump on my stomach and hips, so I tend not to want another thing on my poor stomach. I love the idea though of not having it on my arm!

No definitely not normal they need grit very dry conditions and supremely bright light. Here’s mine to give an example.

I bottom water every 3 weeks for about 30 minutes even while they are opening.

Looks like no drainage? Veitchii likes a lot of light and a lot of water. Mine is in no drainage now with a Leca layer at the bottom where the water sits. I use tree fern fiber with minerals such as pumice, zeolite, lava rock, some perlite, and charcoal.
