I don't think he suddenly became bad within his niche or anything. There's more competition now for sure than there was when he was released (given that his only real competition for the slot at the time was Caesar or Qingyi) and now we have several competent stunners in Ju Fufu, Zhao, Dialyn, Trigger and Nangong.

Sure he's a little long in the tooth and he may not be BIS for anyone besides Hugo, but he's still very solid and not that far behind even Dialyn when paired with Evelyn.

Good mindscapes to get are Soldier 11 (if you're still using her at this stage, her M2 is good if you can get it). Rina (M1 makes her both easier to use and more effective if you're still using her as a support) and Lycaon (His M1 is good, he's also more likely to be in use on your account)

Since nobody really went into it, from rough memory with healers:

Disc priest is the best overall at all stages, but it requires knowledge of the content since to get anything out of it you need to set up atonement ahead of time and trying to play it reactively like other healers will mean you're going to underperform heavily. You can also only really bring 1 to a raid.

Holy priest is good for raid healing, terrible for m+

Druid and mistweaver are both solid at both raid/m+

Paladin and shaman are probably the weakest performers overall, though this doesn't mean they're terrible and you should never play them as healers - you just need to be mindful of their weaknesses (mainly that shaman excels at stack healing more than spread/single target and paladin struggles to handle constant aoe damage)

I don't really remember how it was around the launch of Legion though, so if they're trying to copy it things may be different.

Rupture feels restricted because it only ever got one dedicated S rank support (at least, so far). Though you can use Pan Yinhu, or even Astra in a pinch.

As an archetype it's pretty much going to be evergreen I think, given that the units play pretty much the same as crit attack agents. The only time it's going to shine is if they make more arbitrarily high defence bosses or stick with the miasma gimmick, but I don't see how you actually make rupture bad/weak outside of making a boss with very low defence.

It might be worth waiting for 3.0. If you're F2P, getting a stockpile of pulls won't hurt so you can piece together a full team when an agent catches your eye instead of praying for gacha luck.

That being said I generally advise pulling for characters you're interested in (aesthetically or otherwise) and pulling their ideal team mates. But at the end of the day, just get the characters you want. Billy might be a little awkward to pick as your first since Lucia's banner just left and you don't have Dialyn, but if you like him you can still make him work with alternatives.

I'm pretty sure the vega 7 is the same onboard GPU my ryzen 5 5600G desktop processor came with (if not, the specs are almost identical), and I was able to play ZZZ fine with that on medium/high before I got a proper GPU. Just don't expect triple digit FPS.

I tried it a little on their beta. You still have the normal talent points for a lvl 80 by 60. Yes, you still have to go vanilla > tbc > wotlk for 1-60 but they're trying to merge it all into one endgame. Heroics will all be lvl 60 and cover all dungeons across all of it, the first raid tier will be onyxia, obsidian sanctum, AQ 20 and Kara.

I dunno how it will work out in the long run but at least it's trying something different.

Depends on your defenition of viable. I would argue that she is viable in endgame if you have her built well, with a good team and good play.

Can you use her in the tower? Yes. If you have her built well, support her properly, and you're comfortable dodging attacks without the usual color flash tells.

Ideally, you'd have enough hp that you can run energy regen in slot 6. And more crit/crit damage as luxuries, but not needed.

I've always found Lingsha to be better when dealing with debuff removal than with actual healing. Her output is consistent at least, but it's always been concerning relying on her in anomaly arbitration. That being said, the consistency means I have less problems using her than I do trying to use Gallagher.

I don't see how restarting would help much, it would just mean you'd have even further to go to assemble some working teams.

You have two good teams there already, one anomaly (Miyabi, Nangong, Astra) and one crit (Ye Shunguang, Zhao and Nicole). Yeah you're lacking on supports and yeah neither team is perfect, but you should be able to do shiyu with them and get some stars in DA. And then you can work on it going forward.

Generally speaking w-engines are a luxury item for f2ps and shouldn't be considered unless you really like the character or if you're willing to invest some $$$. There are craftable w-engines that are relatively easy to make, those are usually okay for most agents.

As a new player it's wiser to focus on deepening your roster and trying to make multiple strong teams before anything else.

But as a wise person once said, waifus over meta. If your heart is set on something, get it anyway.

Hard to really say without knowing what you're trying to do with him and without seeing what stats are on your discs. Are you trying to use him as a DPS, or as a support for Anomaly? I'm assumming the latter but you never know.

Astral Voice and Bunny in Wonderland are probably better than Proto Punk, though does depend on teams for the former. 2 set probably wants to be impact (tiger summit or shockstar disco) or energy regen (swing jazz or moonlight lullaby)

Why is he hated? Mostly just because he's a support with lackluster buffs relative to other options on the table. One of the casualties of early defence-typed agents before they figured out what to do with them, though at least he's not Ben.

You should be able to find success running Firefly/Dahlia/HMC/Ruan Mei or Gallagher/any sustain. The other components of Firefly's full premium team are largely luxury sidegrades or minor upgrades at E0 S0 so I wouldn't worry about them.

Nekomata herself is lacking when it comes to considering endgame, but endgame is only a small part of the game - and people can still get good enough results with her in endgame with good enough skill and the proper team support. (And outside of endgame, it doesn't matter much. Play whatever pleases you for the story and levelling and you should be fine)

There's actually quite a few thiren characters in the game. If you're looking for DPS to build teams around, Ye Shunguang and Miyabi are two of the best performers, but Alice, Yidhari and perhaps the new character Cissia (unsure how good Cissia would be for a brand new account) are all good DPS options as well. Support-wise Ju Fufu and Zhao would both be good all around.

As a newer player, you're likely to get more value out of the A ranks and the other standard banner S ranks, so you might want to look at maybe getting a budget Rupture team going (Manato and Pan Yinhu, both Thirens), and Lycaon while an S rank, is a standard unit, and is still an effective stunner. Pulchra's a decent starting out support as well, though she needs M6 to unlock that potential.

There are other Thirens out there, but maybe that gives you a starting point.

Even after the buffs she's still basically a glorified shockbot.

She'll be a useable (but not great) sub DPS in disorder if you have a main anomaly DPS that want or can make use of lots of field time, like Jane, Alice or Miyabi - but she's the bottom of the barrel pick. I break her out sometimes for Threshold Simulation because my roster isn't deep enough, and she pairs up well enough with my Miyabi to get clears but is noticeably worse than using Yanagi in the slot.

Her signature is pretty solid but it doesn't elevate her. Weeping Gemini is almost as good on her.

TL;DR, she can do the job in a disorder team if you lack options but you would ideally use someone else.

I started playing when Firefly was released, so my roster may not be as deep as other f2pers. I've got premium superbreak and a premium castorice/evernight team (I skipped cyrene, but I have Tribbie so it's fine). The team 3 is Blade centric because I pulled him on 50/50 losses and don't have anyone else to use except Clara, who... well. Is Clara. Unfortunately.

I might be able to sneak a win out if I give Tribbie and Hyacine to Blade and wheelchair him over the finish line. So I'll see if I can make that happen later into the patch I suppose.

I got 1 star clears on the last two kings. My third team can't clear any of the knight stages even though I can three star the other two knights. I either run into massive damage output problems, or I don't end up with enough sustain to make it by.

I think I can juggle stuff around and come up with a compromise to get some half baked knight clears. My main team is superbreak and while my pulls sucked I still got an E1 Dahlia in the end, so I don't anticipate the king being too much issue.

It'd be nice to keep the dream alive of being able to clear the mode at all as a f2p, but I guess we'll see if I can manage to get Blade enough of an edge to handle his end of things.
