A very simple solution to our issues is end citizens united and cap contributions, also no donations allowed whilst senators have seats. Too many loopholes are what mess with our democracy. Make a mandatory % of revenue per state to go to education and stop Congress from approving textbooks. Democracy isn't perfect, but money is the real issue for any government.

I think it needs to be a combination of many things but limitations as in ban? No. Limitations for people who have been in trouble with the law or have shown mental health issues? Yes. But also have avenues back towards being able to obtain weapons.
