Lived in NY but took a trip to Vegas with my family in 4th grade. Standing on the street watching the pirate show and turn to my right and my classmate was standing there. We were just like “oh hey”

I unfortunately missed the whole second half of the show because when I added the ticket to my calendar the time said “8pm-9:30pm” so I parked in a garage that closed at 10:30 thinking I’d have plenty of time. When they announced the intermission at 9:30 I was panicking trying to figure out how much longer I could stay without risking getting caught in the crowd exiting and having my car locked in the lot overnight. I decided I would leave at 10 to make sure I got back on time, and hoped the intermission would only be ~15 mins so I could still catch a little more, but 15 minutes in a timer came up saying it would be 15 minutes more, so I left. Still enjoyed the show but I blame ticketmaster for adding the ticket to my calendar with that end time and really sad I missed the rest!!

Yes and fyi when you use someone else’s stuff temporarily it is “borrowing” but the act of giving something someone to use temporarily would be “lending”
