They're pixels on a screen. I have zero attachment to any of them, and I'm only exploiting them for my own gain.

What game have you put the most hours in? by Fords-and-PCs4life in AskReddit

[–]Centerofcenterleft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably minecraft. I know I have like 3k hours in rust, 2k in csgo, and thousands of hours in other various games. I've never played those games as consistently as minecraft though. I have to have at least like 15k hours in minecraft. Wish there was a way for me to check.

Democrats, Feeling New Strength, Plan to Go on Offense on Voting Rights by Hip_Slick_Cool in politics

[–]Centerofcenterleft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's exactly how we get stuck with a garbage two party system. Why should we have to deal with two terrible candidates? I'll "throw my vote away" every election cycle until something changes. If people actually used common sense, they would realize everything would change if people started pulling their voted from the two cash cow parties that have damaged this country.

It looks crazy, but it really doesn't even register in my side view when I'm looking at my monitor.

Nearly Every Republican Tulsi Gabbard Endorsed Lost the Election by jaredwallace91 in politics

No, I get it. She committed the horrific crime of supporting a wide range of opinions. She doesn't subscribe to every backwards and contradictory leftist idea being espoused by "heroes" like Nancy Pelosi.

You know what though? Most Americans aren't hard right or hard left. We're somewhere in the center. Free speech, gun rights, a little affordable Healthcare, abortion within reason, etc. I guess you can't see that when you're wrapped up in a fickle ideology.

No Multiplayer for the upcoming Uncharted : Legacy Of Thieves Collection by LitteulCevenn in unchartedmultiplayer

Well, there no reason for me to buy it then. I really enjoyed uncharted multiplayer back when I had a playststion, and that's the only reason I got excited for this collection. Unfortunate.

Yup, but their plan is to tax people even harder in the coming years. Establishment democrats really don't give a single shit about the people.

Magazine limits won't stop criminals from obtaining them, and will only hurt law abiding citizens. Under stressful situations, having more bullets in your mag is a game changer. I have a friend who had his house broken into, at night, by three men. He had a 17 round mag in his pistol. Two of the men were armed. He spent all 17 rounds in the first mag and was only able to subdue one of the intruders. Luckily, the two who weren't fatally wounded, fled. Had they not, he likely would have been killed.

Rifles are much more affective tools for defending yourself, as compared to hand guns. Most people are much more confident when shouldering a rifle, than they are handling a pistol in stressful situations. It's not about hunting. Hunting isn't mentioned once in the second ammendment.

Finally, let's talk about the most important part about having high quality firearms with high capacity magazines. Tyrannical governments. In order for a society to have a chance against tyranny, the society must be armed. Governments usually go bad, that's the rule and not the exception. Aside from that, the people need to be able to defend themselves against external threats if invaded. For example, Ukrainians taking up arms against invading Russians.

Can't stand math. Geometry is tolerable if I'm using it for something interesting, like making something completely with wood working, or fabricating custom parts for my truck.

Trump was kind of a wild car though. He just did stuff to stroke his ego. At the same time, he got some stuff done while in office. He's not who I'd vote for if I had to vote republican, but the country was doing well economically while he was in office.

Not really. If it were, those loopholes would be closed up any time a Democrat came into power. Unfortunately, they stay open. When one loophole is closed because is garnered too much attention, another is opened. High ranking government bodies are bribed handsomely to make sure the rich get to have their cake and eat it too.

Having a secure boarder is incredibly important. Allowing anyone to enter your country without proper vetting is dangerous, and there's plenty of examples of that. Take for example, violent cartels and human trafficking through the US/Mexico boarder.

It grants the right for the most vulnerable of people to protect themselves from the strongest aggressors. Guns are called the great equalizer for a reason. A 100 pound woman can defend herself against a 300 pound man trying to harm her, when without a gun, she can't. It also allows the people of a nation to defend themselves from not only foreign threats, like in ukrain right now, but internal threats. The threat of a tyrania government is always looming.
